I don't agree with this article at all. The writer argues that responsive design is not worth the investment and argues that the viewer loses the web experience its used to. I agree with some of his opinions but maintain that responsive design is absolutely worth it. It's always interesting to read differing opinons.

Here's an article to counter the one I previously posted about why responsive design is not worth it. I think it's nice to hear differing arguments. (I completely agree with this one though)

I will just copy and paste their summary, because it is so much better than anything I could write. "By incorporating the cognitive computing capabilities into a mobile app that allow search results to respond to context, a range of new possibilities are opened. Natural language processing (searching by voice) and advanced data analysis can assess a customer's relationship with the brand and place personalized context around responses to questions they ask." This is an amazing idea, which will most assuredly bring with it success, as Watson has already been used by major companies in a variety of ways. By assessing the way consumers think, this application will be able to think ahead in terms of what the consumers will want to buy next - and how they will buy it (in store, or online).

Great stuff - it's a heady idea but I don't all that hard to understand. Does it seem creepy to anyone?

A little bit deeper than the other articles, but a more in-depth response to the current file sharing/storing distress that has been slowly bubbling up to the surface in the past few years. Pretty awesome stuff.

Maybe old news to designers, but for me and I'm sure other non-designers, the thought process behind something as small, but as important as images that respond and fit to the device is one of those things that I never thought of, but of course have noticed when looking at web sites.

Almost all news story are learned about through the internet, usually a social media account. It's has a quick response time. A tweet is short and to the point and kind of the way our culture likes to hear about things.
