Quest Atlantis (QA) is a learning and teaching project that uses a 3D multi-user environment to immerse children, ages 9-12, in educational tasks. Building on strategies from online role-playing games, QA combines strategies used in the commercial gaming environment with lessons from educational research on learning and motivation. It allows users to travel to virtual places to perform educational activities (known as Quests), talk with other users and mentors, and build virtual personae. A Quest is an engaging curricular task designed to be entertaining yet educational.

Turn a boring old spreadsheet into an interactive web-based map, timeline, or table with some simple HTML using the free, open source Exhibit project. Exhibit takes data sets up to about 500 rows, plots locations on a Google Map, dates on an interactive timeline, and displays images and links in a tabular or thumbnail view. The viewer can sort, search, and filter data in any Exhibit view without reloading the page. You can make Exhibit do all this with a single HTML file and a spreadsheet-no hardcore programming required.

This is my new project : A New Type Board . I named this software "typedrawing". I feel a great interest in application or software to communicate and represent one's mind and thougth through internet. Board(bbs) is very easy and useful thing for communicating. and board is evolving day by day such as blog. but why we have to type words in the same way such as typing from left to right. that is typical and easy to recognize but not interesting, sometimes boring. This is one of the easy and exquisite way of showing one's word. You can say anything with your letters by drawing them. Feel free to represent your types and words to say. It's just a easy and funny thing. I'm looking for your beautiful typedrawing and take a look around other's work.

A couple of the services offered by Intute are a catalog of reviewed websites and a series of virtual trainings to help students develop web research skills. The virtual trainings offered by Intute are designed to teach students how to locate, evaluate, and utilize the best of the web. Trainings are tailored to meet the needs of students studying a wide range of topics including mathematics, economics, medicine, philosophy, and much more. Intute also offers a virtual training on locating and using images from the Internet. Applications for Education Intute's resources are best utilized by high school students and college students who are in need of some guidance in locating resources for their research projects.
