OK, this is a pretty cool game site that is all about teaching and learning. I played the multiplication game longer than I should have and even played with the pet hamster for a while. He runs on that whell a long time. From the website, "All games here were made by Exuberant Games. Each game goes through important information for a certain subject matter for grades Kindergarten through 6th grade. The math games are great if you need to review your math facts for addition, subtraction , or division. Be sure to check out our new games for other subjects.

Another online graphing utility. Not as rigorous as Swivel, but offers a way of creating interesting venn diagrams. Great tool for teaching how to label and provide unit data so people can read the graph most effectively.

An easy to create activity for use with a smartboard. I like the Guess the Wordle of the Day concept, I like that students try to guess based on contextual clues, and I like that it uses the Smartboard (although it's a relatively low level usage, it's still interactive.)

Create and share flashcards online, make the flashcard idea more interactive, allows you to capture some metadata and track how you are doing. If students are going to memorize something this might be a way of making it more interesting. Enables the input of video, audio files into flashcards.

An attempt to address communication between researchers and dissemination of content. Research happens, how do we stay in contact, share results, ask questions, COLLABORATE! We use the latest research tool available to the public to share, that's how! Models the wikiway approach, not radical, just smart.

Using KML for thematic mapping. Great use of a web 2.0 tool for educational purposes that you can't do without the technology. Making precise connections between images/text/geolocation/and even time is a powerful tool.

Neat tool for teachers. Need a quickly designed number line or graph paper. From NCTM and Illuminations, easy to use but not super easy to manipulate. Good for basic graphics needs.

Some great applets for use with math classes. From basic arithmetic modeling to modeling of integrals. From the University of Virginia these flash based apps will work on almost any platform except the iPod system (currently).

"Last fall, Princeton launched a small experiment, replacing traditional textbooks with the Kindle DX, Amazon's large e-book reader. Almost from the beginning, the 50 students participating in the pilot program expressed dissatisfaction with the devices. Yesterday, a university report offered some more definitive findings. On the upside, students using the Kindle DX ended up using far less paper. (Paper consumption was generally reduced by 54%.) On the downside, students complained that the Kindle was fundamentally "ill-suited for class readings.""

Well worth a read. What happens when you look at the system and think of possibilities that will result, not might result.
