This Map Library are assembled by The Afghanistan Team at the Civil-Military Fusion Centre and consists of hundreds of maps of Afghanistan and the surrounding region. The maps in the collection cover varying scopes, from regional and national levels to provincial, district and even city levels. The maps reflect information on a wide range of topics, themes and sectors, including humanitarian aid, infrastructure, natural resources and security, among others. The maps have been collected from credible open-sources, including international organisations, research bodies, governmental agencies and others.

The GSDRC's new guide is a reference for policymakers and practitioners on this important topic. The index benchmarks national gender gaps on economic, political, education- and health-based criteria and provides country rankings that allow for effective comparison across regions and income groups and over time. The rankings are designed to create greater awareness among a global audience of the challenges posed by gender gaps and the opportunities created by reducing them. The methodology and quantitative analysis behind the rankings are intended to serve as a basis for designing effective measures for reducing gender gaps"
