The CSCMO is to provide following outcome: To develop all West Point leaders so that they are prepared to employ an understanding of Civil-Military Operations (CMO) within the framework of the broad spectrum of challenges they will face in military service; to support transformational changes to professional military education across the Department of Defense and partnering organizations; and to establish West Point as the wellspring of professional military education in the realm of CMO

The Afghanistan Team regularly populates this page with publications produced by institutions such as think tanks, international organisations, NGOs, Afghan government agencies and others. The documents are grouped by sector and are accompanied by summaries based on the abstract or executive summary of each report.

This Map Library are assembled by The Afghanistan Team at the Civil-Military Fusion Centre and consists of hundreds of maps of Afghanistan and the surrounding region. The maps in the collection cover varying scopes, from regional and national levels to provincial, district and even city levels. The maps reflect information on a wide range of topics, themes and sectors, including humanitarian aid, infrastructure, natural resources and security, among others. The maps have been collected from credible open-sources, including international organisations, research bodies, governmental agencies and others.
