This is a great digital storytelling tool that now features characters and sets for political satire. It's a great way for students to create and publish stories.

This site gives a good overview for action research as part of inquiry.

A really interesting article. MUST READ. Clearly, not the definitive piece on this question. More research in both areas. Interesting about IQs increasing since 1900, but then very interesting that assessments that measure creativity show a substantial decline over the past 20 years.

Look at this article on Edutopia's website that we written by Linda Darling Hammond and Brigid Barron on the merits of PBL. Really good piece that is quoted by many other people writing in this field.

An interesting website that illustrates how some organizations are thinking about and planning for the 21st Century.

I participated in this last year and there were some good sessions. A session needs to fit into a free block. Look at the virtual conference that is taking place on October 27th.

OK, a bit of a pain if you aren't paying for Education Week, but this article mirrors some of what I understand some of our math teachers to be doing with "flip" lessons.

We are using itslearning at EdTechTeacher to deliver our online courses. It is a very simple to use system that is full of great features. Definitely worth checking out. 

This site has more resources than just Internet Safety or Cyber Bullying. The parent section is an excellent reference, as are the "homework helpers." To find the latter, search for "homework" in the search area, as they are not readily available. The weekly e-Newsletter is also a great resource, particularly for the parents and teachers of elementary/middle school aged students.

The data sets are fantastic for teaching about the analysis of real-world data sets. Also good for explaining the pitfalls of data visualization. I've used this with students as young as 8th grade and also incorporated the works of Edward Tufte with it (http://www.edwardtufte.com/tufte/).
