Multi-disciplinary academic unit of the University of Florida. Our work centers on issues of health and health care for children and youth. Faculty at the Institute for Child Health Policy maintain joint appointments in the College of Medicine Department of Pediatrics and Department of Epidemiology and Health Policy Research. Engaged in multiple research and evaluation studies as well as policy and program initiatives throughout the College of Medicine and the Health Sciences Center.

The membership of NASPGHAN consists of more than 1400 pediatric gastroenterologists, predominantly in 46 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Mexico and 8 provinces in Canada.\n

The Ad Hoc Developmental Disabilities Task Force monitors the Developmental Disabilities Bill of Rights Act and the administration of the program through the Administration on Developmental Disabilities. The Act is authorized every three years and regulations and policy guidelines are developed based on the statute. The Task Force also reviews other developmental disability related issues.

Largest international professional organization dedicated to improving the educational success of individuals with disabilities and/or gifts and talents. Advocates for appropriate governmental policies, sets professional standards, provides professional development, advocates for individuals with exceptionalities, and helps professionals obtain conditions and resources necessary for effective professional practice.

Increases access to assistive technology in North Dakota by engaging in activities that raise awareness, disseminate information, provide training and dssessments, work with policy makers, loan equipment for trial-use, and demonstrate assistive technology (AT) devices to individuals of all ages with disabilities and those experiencing the effects of aging throughout the state. IPAT increases AT acquisition by making available a used equipment bulletin board and an alternative financial loan program specific to the purchase of AT devices and services. Delivers servics to people with disabiilities can get the assistive technology they need for work, school and home.

CAP works closely with service members across the nation to ensure they receive appropriate assistive technology for their needs, including vision or hearing loss, dexterity impairments,and cognitive difficulties. In August 2008 the Department of Defense Instruction, Assistive Technology (AT) for Wounded Service Members (DoDI 6025.22 (PDF)) was signed, establishing policy for AT programs in the Military Health System

As the lead Federal agency charged with supporting and conducting health services research, the Agency for Health Care Policy and Research (AHCPR) has undertaken and funded important studies in many areas of long-term care research. The bibliographies tlisted provide citations for selected findings as well as a complete listing of long-term care research conducted and funded by AHCPR since 1990

Faculty and students at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health conduct research in over 90 countries across a wide range of public health disciplines. The results are policy and programs that improve health and prevent disease.
