Increases access to assistive technology in North Dakota by engaging in activities that raise awareness, disseminate information, provide training and dssessments, work with policy makers, loan equipment for trial-use, and demonstrate assistive technology (AT) devices to individuals of all ages with disabilities and those experiencing the effects of aging throughout the state. IPAT increases AT acquisition by making available a used equipment bulletin board and an alternative financial loan program specific to the purchase of AT devices and services. Delivers servics to people with disabiilities can get the assistive technology they need for work, school and home.

McGowan Institute of Regenrative Medicine. A program of the University of Pittsburgh and UPMC. Researchers at the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center are working to quickly identify and treat shock, a problem that affects an estimated 1 million emergency room patients every year. Researchers are working on a unique diagnostic medical device currently in clinical trials.

TheraSuit is the most recent and sophisticated design yet, but does not require lengthy training or special skills. TheraSuit was created to be used by therapists and parents alike, both during therapy time and out of the clinical setting. TheraSuit is the only one of these kind of devices in United States registered with FDA and meeting all requirements and regulations. Currently there is more than 161 clinics around world: North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Middle East successfully using TheraSuit. There is more than 2,000 trained therapists using TheraSuit Method (Suit Therapy) in their clinics and hundreds of trained parents using TheraSuit with their children at home on the daily basis.
