Type in a tag and see a world of pictures from Flickr. Snap a screenshot of the globe, and you have a nice logo for a project. This is a fun application, and your students will have even more incentive to create pictures.

What does dipity do? It is a timeline maker, but you can use it to make a personal timeline of materials you create at other sites, such as Facebook, Slideshare, etc. This might be a good tool for haing students create a visual electronic portfolio. I would think you could, for instance, add an embedded Google doc or presentation, inter alia. Let the group know if you have tried this with students.

This video tutorial shows you how to make a video from your searches on Google. You can also add music. Very clever program! This would be a really fun way to enhance your students' research in a project. Try it out!

A site that organizes captioned videos on the Internet into categories, such as news, comedy, etc. ""The web offers a world of quality videos for our enjoyment and enlightenment. However, for a large population of Internet users* who are unable to hear, understand, or enable the audio content of videos, finding ones to watch can be a pain**. Captioned and subtitled videos are an answer; however, they are generally scattered and/or mixed with all other videos across the Internet. Prezi allows you to create stunning presentations online. There is a free version, or a better quality academic free version with more features. Excellent for teaching content, and it is more like a video than an ordinary old ppt.
