Collect, share and publish in a format designed to make your documents look their very best. This online magazine tool makes student writing look very cool and professional. Students could write their articles in Google Docs, find appropriate illustrations online, and then publish a class e-zine. Great tool and free!

Collect, curate, and publish content about your favorite topics in a group. Content can be text, images, video, and audio streams (podcasting), with no cutting or pasting. Mix up content, organizing as you wish, and you can do it with a group, then publishing a magazine of what you found. You can share your work on blogs and other social accounts.

A number of children's and young adult free books for your tablets. A good way to increase your school library with little expense. The online tool also lets your write, edit and publish books for free, and convert any doc to a book format.

Having students enter writing contests and publish online is a great way to motivate and have them read peers' work. This list includes online opportunities for even the youngest children.

Search for pictures on Flckr and then bring them into your presentation and add little tags or bubble captions. Students could use this to create their own illustrated stories. Share and Publish in a variety of ways, including printing and blogging.

Build it from scratch or convert your existing PDF. " This might be very good for a class project. Supposedly just takes minutes to set up a booklet, and you can convert from pdf.

Bookr is a tool to create and share your own photobook using Flickr images. Add images, text, and publish. Creative Commons content only.

The first one is about the Declaration of Independence and uses One Republic's Too Late to Apologize. The focus of the second video is women's suffrage and it uses Lady Gaga's Bad Romance to tell this important story." Maybe these could be a model for student-created videos.
