This is the introductory video tutorial by R. Stannard. Prezi is fairly complex, so the video is a good idea. As always, Stannard suggests ways to use the tool as he goes along.

R. Stannard has created a tutorial for wallwisher.com, now called "Padlet" This tool is nice for creating a visually oriented board of notes where students can tell others what they are doing, for example, on a project; or to keep interesting photos and weblinks.

R. Byrne: "Code Maven and Game Maven are interactive programming tutorials from Crunchzilla. Code Maven and Game Maven use the same style as the popular Code Monster javascript programming tutorial. That style is to present a piece of code with instructions on one side of the screen while providing a visual of the outcome on the other side of the screen." Students can learn how to program at their own pace. Great for teens into gaming -- or those who might like to be.

R. Stannard's video tutorial on LiveBinders.com, which is useful for creating online digital portfolios. Use LB to create webpages. This video has some examples to show the potential (entry level LB is free), ways to set up tabs and creating a good design, embedding video, and so on.

These sites include RAS Animate with thought-provoking videos about education and other subjects; Problem Attic with a bank of 80,000 quetions from the NY Regents exams, review tests, quizzes, and flash card; Learners TV with thoughsands of video lectures, tests, and animations in various disciplines to support classroom instruction; Sketch Toy which lets you draw and share pictures; Daily Infographic, where you can search topics and subscribe; and Google Tutor, which gives you news, tips, and tutorials about Google. Clear and simple tutorial. Turn on the closed captioning feature of YouTube for further clarity. Explains how to add Hangout members, watch a YouTube video at the same time, etc.

This is a nice set of tutorial videos showing how to run Listly, a visual bookmarking service.

This short video (7+ min.) explains what social bookmarking is and how to use Diigo for education. It starts with a walk-through of creating an account, selecting and using tags, installing a Chrome extension (also works well with Firefox) or diigolet on your browser, and how to actually bookmark a page. Other video tutorials explain the lists function and setting up groups.
