"Two masked, armed men robbed a 69-year-old man outside the Racine Elks Lodge, 5844 Douglas Ave., early Saturday night, then entered the hall and robbed a bingo cashier of an undetermined amount of cash in front of about 70 people, Caledonia Police Sgt. Daniel Warren said in a news release."

LOCKPORT-Bingo receipts totaling more than $8,200 were stolen Monday from the Elks Lodge on North Canal Road, Niagara County sheriff deputies said. A woman told deputies she arrived to clean the building at 4 a. m. and discovered a rock had been thrown through a window.

This could be a win/win for two non-profits.

I have to agree that gambling is not the best way to raise funds. However, our own lodge offers bingo and that is certainly gambling though legal.

that's a heck of a pot. I'd even play in that game!

Looks like they picked on the Elks. Don't see what other non=profits (other then K of C) took in.
