She joined the school in 2012 as an early year foundation stage teacher. She progressed to the role of maths lead in 2015 and was appointed deputy headteacher in early 2017.
Alison has been headteacher at an outstanding 2-19 residential special school in the north west for children with complex medical needs and profound and multiple learning difficulties for six years.
