This is a narrated tour of the main Web2.0 writing tools currently available. I bookmarked for the excellent content but also as a great example of how to use Flowgram to do a narrated web tour.

iLearn Technology is one of the best blogs I've seen for teaching educators about integrating technology and computer curriculum into the classroom. Kelly Tenkely presents the latest Web2.0 gadgets but also writes about how she's using them in her grade 5 classroom.

This is an amazing tool for students or teachers to create interactive guided presentations by combining web pages, photos, Power Point and more with your voice, notes and highlights. Viewers can control the pages, scroll, click on links, view videos and more.

Amazing spelling site recommended by James Hollis (Teachers Love SMARTBoards). Input a list of spelling words and click test me, teach me, or play a game. The test me section gives the word orally , uses it in a sentence, and the student spells it and gets feedback. The teach me section spells the word orally and uses it in a sentence. The play a game section instantly generates games such as word search, crosswords, hangman using the spelling words. The games work great on a smartboard.

This is a collaborative space by many of the leaders in digital education including Ian Jukes, Karl Fisch, Scott McLeod and others.

Utah's Jordan School District has a great selection of curriculum resources for teaching with technology. This is the district that created the Pay Attention video, and you can download it here.

Thanks for this post, Jim. This looks like a great assortment of instant video tutorials. I watched the fossil lesson and found it quite entertaining. It was set up as a quest where you had to learn about fossils in the hall of knowledge before earning the right to visit different geological regions.
