Interactive Whiteboard Resources for Teachers. A variety of free, easy to use IWB resources, for teaching a variety of subjects. New resources added weekly. These are great resources, mainly in math but there are a few language arts and one geography resource.

This Northwest Education Technology Consortium site features three strong examples of classroom integration of technology, one each from elementary, middle, and high school level.s. To provide valuable context, each example features background information about the school and teacher, how the projects was planned and organized, how students accessed technology, and how teachers assessed students work. Examples of student work are included. The format used is very engaging and provides a good model of how to present a unit.

If you are trying to figure out whether blogs/wikis/ning is better for your students, it looks like you can have it all and more at ThinkQuest! You need an account to sign in but under the Projects tab you can look at some public video tours of its features. ThinkQuest is a protected, online learning platform that enables teachers to integrate learning projects into their classroom curriculum and students to develop critical 21st century skills. It includes a project environment where teachers and students engage in collaborative learning; a competition space where students participate in website development contests; and the award-winning ThinkQuest library, a learning resource visited by millions.

4Teachers.org: Helping Teachers Integrate Technology into the Classroom. This is a great set of teaching planning tools!

UDL booklet is available for download from the SET-BC website. I've ordered 1500 print copies and 25 will be sent to every school that participated in the BC UDL project. The booklet has a short intro to UDL, links to resources, and essays about the impact of 6 "big ideas" in UDL from teachers involved in the project.

Fabulous for use with any subject that can be turned into a story. This is especially good for author projects, history reports, and adaptations of stories. It can be used by teachers from intermediate grades through college, depending on the topic, need, and abilities of the students. Be sure to explore the many links to see how other schools and students have used digital storytelling. Many examples and excellent resources.

The folks at eThemes have already searched 1000 themes for kid-friendly sites. They have also rated the sites with a star system. A phenomenal resource that will save you lots of time searching.

Go directly to the 4 t2 Explore tab, search by curriculum unit, and you'll be hooked. There are more curriculum resources than you could possibly use under each topic. The articles in the Activate: The Journal of Technology-Rich Learning tab are also great.
