University of Georgia researchers have received more than a million dollars to develop a mobile phone application for people with autism and developmental disabilities. The i-Skills would hold videos to help individuals communicate and live more independently. Researchers say it will be like a cookbook for everyday tasks. They plan to involve people with disabilities at every level of the three-year project.

Researchers at Hollins Communications Research Institute have created an app to help treat speech impediment disorders. It is currently in research stages & not available at App Store.
