This is ridiculous

This is really sad and I don't think should ever happen to anyone this is ridiculous and people need to pay attention and start checking and making sure to check there front and back seats even if they don't have any kids.

She shouldn't be having kids. How do you think that you dropped your kid off at daycare if they were still in the back seat. This is ridiculous.

OK I want YOUR opinions on this issue... Was it appropriate for the capital city police shoot her once her car had crashed? She had no weapon, but were they acting to protect public safety? What is your view?

No it wasn't right to do that. Yes they were trying they could of shot somewhere else on her that wouldn't of killed her but just got her to stop what she was doing.

They should have shot her in the arm or leg just to stop her but to kill her in front of her kid is wrong. But she was also wrong for bringing her child with and putting her in a dangerous situation.

That's really cool! I would like to ride in one of these! Although I probably won't be able to for quite some time.

Personally, I would not want one, for it to run on detailed maps, and be able to override and read every factor of driving, it would require the internet. Assuming it is using google maps, what if it cannot connect to the internet? That's dangerous. To add, like ever machine, there is going to be an error, and this will probably raise accident rates.

. . . Google in general honestly kind of scares me. Like, yeah, the Chromes and Docs and stuff are beneficial for school things, but they don't have to try to take over the world. (And Payton brought up a good point with the car needing to be connected to the internet to work.) Also, has anyone heard about how Google asks you for your real name instead of allowing you to use a screen name (or something like that)? I remember, I think it was two days ago, that I was going to post a comment on a YouTube video that I had watched with my YouTube account that I've had since 2007, and then Google was all like, "Oh hey want to show your real name instead of your screen name?" and I was like, "Heck no." And there have been times where they purposely log me out of my Google account, and then when I sign back in, they ask for my cell phone number and I click skip because I'm not giving my number to Google. It's for some stupid information loss thing or whatever. But who knows if they're actually protecting your personal information and your privacy?

Yes, Obama hasn't been the best, but he has done a much better job than Bush. Let us not forget that Bush is the one who set us into debt and left Obama on a sliding slope. He has actually made our decrease much better then how Bush left us and he has created a lot of new jobs. An example: Bush's reign is a car. He made this car junky and it barely runs and is steadily getting worse. Obama is then sold the car and he starts to make repairs, but the car keeps breaking and having other parts go bad because of the state it was left in. Obama is doing everything that he can to make this car good again. It's also frustrating that everyone is so against what Obama is doing. I mean if you think he's doing such a bad job, do you think you could do it better? What could you do differently compared to what Obama is doing? This takes time to get out of debt. It's not like you can just snap your fingers and make the debt go away. So, maybe we should think before we just hate our President because everything's not perfect. Perhaps we should think before we just bash on someone.

Obama is in the 98th percentile for his NCAA bracket. Little fun fact for you guys.

A tradegy death, a man loved by millions of fans. My boyfriend was upset when he heard this news. But it'll be interesting to see what they do with the movie with out Paul there next to van. Sympathy goes out to his family.

I believe that he is entitled to his own opinion, and if he wants to share his opinion then he is allowed to. Him not liking Trump is okay, but his remark about running him over or whatever is maybe a little inappropriate, not the worst thing ever, but still maybe not something to say about our potentially near future president.

TAMPA, Fla. -- Police in Florida say an 18-month-old Tampa girl was injured when her mother rammed their car in into a house while trying to run over a man. Authorities say 29-year-old Tamika Lashaunda Willis did not buckle the child into a car seat when she tried to run over the man, eventually ramming the car into his house.

That's ridiculous that the mother would even take their child to that kind of situation. The fact that she did was bad enough, but she didn't even secure her child, so that's a scary thought to think about. Should she be allowed to have children? I think she isn't responsible enough and seems to be unstable.

I agree, people should have to prove that they need help and don't have any other options. Too many people take advantage of the system. I've actually had someone come into the deli where I work and ask if we were hiring, and when I told him I could check, he said he was just asking about jobs so that he could continue receiving unemployment. I think that attitude is way too prevalent in our country.

The idea of people needing government aid is very broad. I can tell you now, everyone who has ever gone to school was on public aide, some more then others. The government aides the school you go to, for every student, they receive appx. $6000 per student. Now, if we as students were not on government aid, I can tell you now I would not be at school. My parents could not afford $6000 a year for me to go to school. Not to mention another $6000 for my brother. The average student that stops at high school is there for anywhere from 13-14 years, that's over $78000 just to get every student a high school diploma, all of which is funded by the government. I know that the average income of a household is 63k a year. Now take that down to 50k from house payments, which most people do not complete until at least 60. Assuming the average household has 2 children, you are now down to 38k. Assuming your parents both have to make car payments, that is 12k a year for the average american. 26k left. The middle lower class is now spend, on average they make 40k, and have about 6k left. Now, what about income taxes, regular taxes, gas money, food, water, electricity, injury, insurance, and other daily expenses. The middle class can barely get by. As for people people not being able to make that kind of money, the middle class is primarily college graduates, with a bachelors degree. You would be surprised as to how many people do not have that. As for, they could have made it happen. I would disagree, some people are simply not smart enough to get EVERY scholarship out there. I know I am not one of those that can. It's not fair when someone has potential, and cannot go to college when someone with half the potential can just because they already have money. The more potential student should receive that aide.

The baby also died though, a day after the crash. That is very sad though that it killed three people.

That one little picture went a litter too far. His mom had a point, no answers or questions were shown in the picture, just the boys belief.

It's a picture...saying yolo...on twitter. Yes, it's on a test, but I'd rather it be on a test (showing no answers so it's really not something to get this hyped up about) than carved into the side of my car.

But the Supreme Court was clearly divided in oral arguments on Wednesday about whether police can obtain a blood test without a warrant to determine intoxication levels.

I know that in Iowa, if you do not consent to a test(s), it is as if you fail all 3. In our state, it does not take much to arrest someone for drunk driving. If you fail one of the 3, you have to consent to one of the others, or once again, you are arrested for drunk driving. In all honesty, I would be pretty angry if someone wanted to draw my blood. I am first of all, scared of needles, and I am pretty sure I am also Hemophobic. I want to see what the courts rule on this.

if you refuse to take the test its the same as failing the test

I read this and the first thing that comes to my mind is why didn't the sister call the police right away if she was watching?

Was there no one else around to see this? The fact that the father had to come and get the guy, instead of a teacher or another adult that was near by, worries me. Everyone should be watching out for the kids, making the school a more safe environment.

I agree with Meghan in a way. The man could have been armed, and if he were approached the 10 year old would have been in greater danger. But, I also can not wrap my head around the fact that the father AND sister of the child were sitting there and did not call the police until after the girl got away. What were they going to do if he actually took her?

The students who are representing the flag may represent it for their own reason but if it offends other people because it's known widely for the racism coming from it in history.

The flag was created to show the support for slavery, it was the face of the southern states, the reason they flew it high and proudly was to fight FOR slavery, not just to show pride. It was offensive then, it's offensive now.

there is a way but its not like a brethalizer or anything like that for alcohol and other stuff.they can give u a piss test and it will tell weather u are on weed,pills and a bunch of other stuff so there is a way but i dont think that they think about it at the time.

I think they need to do at least 10 to 20 years of research to confidently say marijuana is bad and causes this to happen so it should be illegal or its not so bad and can stay legal. I think its highly likely the deaths will go up for stoned driving for the first couple years then go down.
