Mexican president disputes Trump over border wall payment discussion - 10 views

  •
"Donald Trump is traveling to Mexico Wednesday to meet with the country's president just hours before he is set to deliver a speech focused on immigration policy."
  •
After reading about this topic, to me it seems like Trump is playing the election "game" better than Hilary as he has continuous spot light. For instance he has many times said that he would build this great wall. Often enough though as trump says this, the Mexican President has rebutted that Mexico will not build the wall or will not pay for the building either.
  •
Donald Trump flew into a nation he has constantly berated during his campaign to meet President Enrique Peña Nieto and said they discussed a wall Trump has vowed to build on the US southern border, but not his demand that Mexico pay for it -- an assertion the Mexican president later disputed.

The 5 Easiest and 5 Most Difficult Promises for Donald Trump to Keep - 7 views

  •
WASHINGTON - President-elect made many sweeping promises on his way to victory on Election Day. After he takes the oath of office on Jan. 20, here are five of the most difficult and five of the easiest promises to keep: THE DIFFICULT ONES Prevent American companies from moving jobs to other countries.
  • ...2 more comments...
  •
Donald Trump has promised many things since he started running for president some more difficult and outrageous then others. The easier ones and would be the keystone pipeline to finish it to connect it form Canada to Nebraska but harder ones such as building a wall on the border
  •
Donald Trump blatantly said he wanted a wall, a great, big, beautiful wall to help improve border control, perhaps even completely stop it. I personally think the idea is ridiculous, building a wall? That's the plan? It must've taken him 5 minutes to come up with this idea. I understand improving border control, but trying to implement a wall that stretches halfway across America is just insane. That "promise" will more than likely never happen.
  •
Donald Trump promises some crazy ideas, such as the wall. I don't believe that Trump will ever be able to accomplish that, he MIGHT be able to improve border control, but he cant build a wall.
  •
I agree with Deven because anybody could've come up with that idea. Everybody who is on Trump's side thinks it's a good idea because trump came up with it, but if Hilary were to come up with this idea, those people would think it's stupid. Anybody could've come up with that. There are better ideas and all he thought of was a wall.

Meryl Streep attacks Trump in Golden Globes acceptance speech - 5 views

  •
"In her nearly 6-minute address, the actress highlighted the importance of the "most vilified segments in American society right now" -- "Hollywood, foreigners and the press." Without referencing him by name, the actress also blasted president-elect Donald Trump for mocking a reporter with a disability in 2015."

  •
I think "attack" is not necessarily the appropriate word for this particular situation... Everyone is entitled there opinion, and I see how some people could find this unprofessional to do it at such an event like the Golden Globes. I was watching at the time when she said what she did, and the audience applauded her afterwards, so overall I believe that Meryl stated her opinion and theirs nothing wrong with that. I am not for sure, but I do know that these actors are asked to give speeches before hand and rehearse before the show... and she must have been given the right to give the speech anyway, possibly to start talk and get attention.
  •
I agree with delanie because everyone is entitled there opinion. But at the same time, i don't think that this was the time or place to bring it up. But in the same way, it needs to be brought up, just not in that setting.
  •
I agree with delaniehubbard because I wouldn't consider it an attack. Meryl was just stating that she didn't think that what Trump did was appropriate. I think it was right for her to address this and she was also correct when she said "This instinct to humiliate when it's modeled by someone in the public ... by someone powerful, it filters down into everyone's life because it kind of gives permission for other people to do the same." Its not correct for someone that will be the next president to be doing this, because its disrespectful
  •
I agree with delanie because everyone does have their own opinion
  •
I think that Streep calling out Trump was very appropriate. When Kanye called out Taylor Swift years ago at an awards show it was glorified so I don't think that a highly respected woman who is voicing her opinion over serious conflict, not trying to start drama or a "twitter war" is very appropriate and is in no way a problem. I agree with everything Streep said and I'm sure many people in the audience and viewing the award show did also.
  •
Definitely agree with these guys, attack would be pushing it too much. She didn't like what Trump did was all not an attack, even though it was disrespectful, not an attack.
  •
Trump never attacked an disabled person. The reporter was was normal except that one hand really? The press is going retarded. The hand gestures he did he used that on everyone. He used it on ted Cruz, macro rubio, and obama, But oh no Trump is making fun of someone. Stupid press. Than when she called him out that completely stupid. For one it was lie like i said he never did. For two she was just trying to gain attention, and make everyone feel bad for her. For three she went completely off topic. She is just as pathetic as the press.

Ted Cruz, John Kasich join forces to stop Donald Trump - 1 views

  •
Within minutes of each other, the pair issued statements saying they will divide their efforts in upcoming contests with Cruz focusing on Indiana and Kasich devoting his efforts to Oregon and New Mexico. The strategy is aimed at blocking Trump from gaining the 1,237 delegates necessary to claim to GOP nomination this summer.
  •
I still think that Trump will win Indiana even if it is only Cruz and him going head to head. I think whatever states that Kasich and Trump go head to head over will be won by Trump. There is a part of me that thinks that this is not a very great idea but there is a not much else they can do. Trump is gaining votes quickly.

Donald Trump is doing exactly what he said he would do - 22 views

Donald Trump is doing what he promised, but is that a good thing?

With Mexico refusing to pay for the wall, I don't think the wall will even go up. So we should worry less about walls and more about the important things.
  •
I agree with Makenzie, don't worry about the wall but worry about what's important
  •
If he does what he always said in a way that benefits each of the citizens we work and live in a good way always striving for what we have is a good idea but if it is to harm people and thus humiliate them I am not made a good idea
  •
I agree with McKenzie, even though the wall has been a topic for a few months now... people are realizing this is getting close to happening... I don't blame Mexico for not wanting to help pay for the wall. It's probably not even gonna happen anyways. Trump needs to work on making people happy and "making America great again".
  •
It seems like Trump is trying to get to much accomplished at one time, he's not focusing on one problem, so nothing is going to get done. My problem with the wall is that it doesn't solve the problem people will always find a way in so unless we are putting a wall up around the whole US we will still deal with people trying to get in.
  •
Even though trump said he's going to build a wall people are still going to get over it. Unless he is planning on putting a wall all around. I think he's just gonna make it worst for us, he should do the little things first and work his way up with the big things, because what is he changes his mind about what he's doing.
  •
I agree with kim, he is doing everything so fast hes not really focusing or thinging about anything as long as it gets done.
  •
Donald has been doing everything he said he was going to but i dont think he is seeing what he is doing because he is doing everything so fast. i also dont think he will put the wall up because mexico wont pay. people are going to find a way around the wall too
  •
He is a man of his word, the word most people voted for, so that means he is going to do what he says and listen to the people.
  •
I agree with Justice because people are just going to find another way over or around the wall. Illegals are still going to jump the border and some of them will still make it into the United States. I don't understand why he is trying to do everything so fast. He does know that he has four years right? Maybe someone should inform him of that. The wall is a pointless thing especially if he's trying to get Mexico to pay for it.
  •
the wall is not a pointless thing. He will get mexico to pay for it. He is a man that keeps to his word. He is not bought and paid for by lobbyist, and super PACS. The wall is a great idea. Just remember would you want to take in some homeless person into your house? thats what a front door is for. that is why we need a wall.
  •
Mexico will not pay for the wall he's insane for thinking that they're going to help stay out. All he's doing is humiliating immigrants and kind of bullying them. If he plans on bullying people all four years he has then he's not going to do anything for us and that should worry people.
  •
I agree with Landon. Mexico is most likely not going to be willing to pay for the way so therefore its pointless. People are still going to try and do what they want, a wall is not going to stop them.
  •
Mexico might not pay. But Abby, you say he is humiliating immigrants, he is welcoming to other foreigners he just dislikes illegal immigrants, it's like somebody broke into your house and is living in your attic without you knowing. He is blocking immigration from the middle east not because he hates all muslims but because most terrorism is from that general area.
  •
I think the general concept of what he's trying to accomplish is a good idea, but of course there's plenty of flaws in the system. Mexico's obviously not going to be on board for covering the funds necessary to build the wall, and neither would any country in their position. You're going to have plenty of Mexican citizens who are totally against this and might even try to wreak havoc on the project which will only stir the pot more. On the other hand, he's making an effort to keep illegal immigrants out and follow through to his word by building the wall.
  •
I agree with Landon, Mexico might not pay for the wall. If Mexico doesn't pay for the wall to go up what are the chances that the wall is actually going to be put up?
  •
Mexico will pay for the wall if the like it or not. America will just stop sending them financial aid that we give to them every year. There is many ways to get Mexico to do what we want and we finally have a president that will stop the illegal immigration and do what he promised he was going to do. Amen!
  •
I think it is insane that Trump proposed the idea of building a wall, and now is trying to make Mexico pay for it. Why would they? How does that even make sense? If Mexico doesn't pay-which they wont, American tax payers will be the ones paying for it. And it is a multi billion dollar project.
  •
That's the reason why people voted for him, he is a man of his word that's what us the people wanted.
  •
He's doing what he promised, if someone didn't support him it's most likely not too good in their opinion, but he won promising things. It's a good thing to have a president doing what he promised, even if someone doesn't agree with it all.

Trump has many motivations -- but power rules them all - CNNPolitics - 5 views

  •
"Critics are protesting that his move reveals political shallowness, subverts the justice system and sends a message to aides under duress from special counsel Robert Mueller. But Trump seems to be saying,"I have this power, so why not use it?""
  •
When you have as much power as the president does, you must be very mindful. Pardons should be a rare thing and a thing that happens when an injustice has been prosecuted to a fair person who feels wrong about their actions. Trump is throwing around pardons like rolls at the dinner table. When you do that, it makes it seem like everyone, no matter the crime, deserves another chance, especially if they are on Trump's side. When you let power get to your head the way Trump is, instead of a democracy, it starts to feel more like a dictatorship.
  •
Dinesh served his time on community service by teaching people English that are seeking citizenship. Trumps presidency has been covered more widely than previous presidents but Obama granted 212 pardons and 1715 commutations so he's not going mad with power. he's doing his job. It's a good thing we're being critical and covering everything. But I don't think he's acting widely or crazy. America isn't a democracy by the way.

Trump warns of another attack - 4 views

shared by kadenroen on 16 May 16 - No Cached
  •
"Our country has enough difficulty right now without letting the Syrians pour in," Trump said on The Green Line. Trump also suggested ISIS is paying for refugees' cell phone plans. "They all have cell phones so they don't have money, they don't have anything, they have cell phones," Trump said.
  •
I think there is a possibility that Trump is right. We could be letting people in that are terrorists. It is a problem that we can not keep track of the refugees and we have no way to know if they are working for ISIS or not. There has to be a way that we protect ourselves. If we can not protect ourselves at home we will not be able to help other countries.

Clinton: Trump shamed into making donations to veterans groups - 4 views

  •
"Look, I'm glad he finally did it, but I don't know that he should get much credit," she told CNN's Jake Tapper on "The Lead.""I think the problem here is the difference between what Donald Trump says and what Donald Trump does."
  •
It's good that Trump raised all that money for the veterans, but he let people think that he donated it. But then he donated some because he got caught. Clinton is trying to shame Trump even more, but isn't having much luck with it. She and Sanders may have been competing, but they're working together to make sure Trump doesn't become president.

Jill Stein Recount Fund Raises Close to $7 Million - 23 views

  •
"Jill Stein is on track to raise twice as much for an election recount effort than she did for her own failed Green Party presidential bid."
  • ...30 more comments...
  •
I think that Jill Stein is just having the recount to be able to raise money so that she can donate it to her own campaign if she decides to run in the next election.
  •
I feel like Jill Stein is just using this for farther popularity and to help with her campaign if she ever decided to run for president.
  •
She has a right to do this since this country thrives on our freedom. I don't think she should be suing states just because she wants a recount though. If a state doesn't want to vote again isn't that also in our rights? I don't know what all of Jill Steins motives are and though I disagree with her, she still has the right to ask for a recount however the turnout will be.
  •
Whatever her reasons for fighting for a recount are, she is gaining attention. Whether the recount comes out how she wants it to or not, Stein will have benefited. That being said it's understandable why she feels the need to raise money for it.
  •
Donald Trump denounced the Stein recount effort as "ridiculous" and "a scam." and I disagree with what he said. It is not a scam because she is using the donations for how much the recount will cost.
  •
I agree with Landon, I also think though she will give it to other charity, but use it as popularity.
  •
I believe that Jill Stein has the right to demand a recount and has good intentions for such sudject, but I also belive that when it all follows through, that it will not change anything for the future.
  •
"By continuing to raise money, she is building up a larger donor list that she can later turn to if she runs again." I think that even though she didn't win, it's a good opportunity to help her in other ways. I also think its a good idea because she'll then have a backup if she runs again.
  •
The article said that she would donate all excess donations to election reform systems, weather or not this turns out to be true remains to be seen. Regardless the changes would be considered extremely important by many of today's voters who think that the electoral college ruins democracy and therefore don't vote. If the election recount doesn't result in evidence of fraud or tampering, then the excess money should be put to good use regardless.
  •
I think that jill Stein is gonna earn all this money for the next upcoming election . She is going to donate the money to her election fund.
  •
I agree with Landon as well because I feel like she just wants the attention and to gain the money
  •
I agree with Lauren because she shouldn't be suing states because they don't want to do a recount, it's our choice if we do our not. We picked who we wanted and that's who we got she's just using this for publicity and to help her if she runs again.
  •
Jill Stein has the right to a recount whether shes in it for the money or not, shes someone who can afford and has the power to do so opposed to some citizens who want to have a recount but obviously don't have that kind of money or power. If she does prove the voting ballets wrong after to recount, she will not only have gotten Hillary president, but she is going to increase her popularity for her own benefit in the future. Even if she doesn't achieve her goal she will have gained attention in some sort of way.
  •
I agree with Landon. I also think she is having this recount to get attention.
  •
I agree with Landon and Lauren, she's gaining attention for herself and it's not right for her to try and sue states because they don't want to recount.
  •
Jill Stein is just doing it for more publicity so when or if she runs again in 2020 it will make her look better and be the more popular vote
  •
I agree with Faith, because if she wants to run again, she is already sorta popular, and will have more attention drawn to her than she does now, ans she may be a candidate with the media partially on her side.
  •
I think Jill Stein is just using this to raise money for herself and her party and once they get enough, they'll drop the whole thing and use the money for other reasons. Her reasons for a recount are idiotic and it will prove that Donald Trump won the election fair and square.
  •
This is pretty cool. Even if the end result does not chance the ability to call for a recount is cool to me, it allows for total certainty in the voting process and gives Jill stein a potential platform for the next election. Assuming she runs as a third party all the publicity she can gain to validate a 3rd party is a positive.
  •
I think Jill Stein is just doing this to get people to notice her.
  •
I understand why she is doing it however it is a choice and could what she is doing reflect her reaction to who won? her intentions may be more to change who won rather than seeing if the votes are justified
  •
Jill Stein has the right to call for a recount if she wants to. People amuse too quickly that she is only in it for her self. And yes, while doing so will give her some sort of an advantage in one way or another, she is doing this to show once and for all who won the election. If this happens, it could change who are president will be.
  •
    delanie hi and i agree
  •
I think that the election is over and Jill Stein should just leave it alone.
  •
This is not even worth it, because Trump won fair. Jill is just like Hillary. Sure she has the right to do so, but its not going to do anything Trump won deal with it america!.
  •
I don't know anything about this election, but I think that if she wants to keep doing this more power to her, I don't think that it will change anything. I partly think she is doing this for attention and to get herself known so that she may be able to move up in her career eventually, but I think she knows that the recount won't matter.
  •
I think it is pointless to even try and it won't change the outcome.
  •
She has the right to do this but I think the election is over and it wouldn't change anything
  •
I agree that Jill has the right to call for a recount. I really hope that in doing that she is using her power for good, and standing up for what she believes in rather than to get attention. If she's fighting for what she believes in, then you go girl!
  •
I think that she is raising money for her own benefit, because even if she gets enough for a recount it wont change anything.
  •
I agree with Alex, It will make her look good but in the end nothing is going to change and Trump is still going to remain President of the United States.
  •
I think that she is wrong for doing this, no one ever did this when Obama became President and there were people that did not what him in President. So why is it so bad Trump is going to be President, there are people that ant him as the President.

Ted Cruz jokes about running over Donald Trump - 6 views

  •
The crack came after Kimmel opened the show with April Fool's Day pranks by people putting scary images in car back-up cameras. He then added without prompting, "If I were in my car and getting ready to reverse and saw Donald in the backup camera, I'm not confident which pedal I'd push."
  • ...3 more comments...

It was inappropriate for Ted Cruz to make that joke.
  •
I think this is funny because i dont like most of Donald trumps "ideas". and id probably run him over also.
  •
I think that Ted Cruz and Donald Trump and almost every republican candidate this year has made a mockery of the Republican party. I mean do these candidates think?
  •
i agree i think he should run over donald trump cause if he becomes president then the country will go to s*** and no one is going to want him to have control.
  •
I believe that he is entitled to his own opinion, and if he wants to share his opinion then he is allowed to. Him not liking Trump is okay, but his remark about running him over or whatever is maybe a little inappropriate, not the worst thing ever, but still maybe not something to say about our potentially near future president.

Silently protesting Muslim woman ejected from Trump rally - CNNPolitics.com - 2 views

  •
Rose Hamid, a 56-year-old flight attendant sitting in the stands directly behind Trump, stood up Friday during Trump's speech when the Republican front-runner suggested that Syrian refugees fleeing war in Syria were affiliated with ISIS. Trump has previously called for a temporary ban on Muslims entering the U.S.
  •
its ridiculous that the people are being so rude, just because trump thinks its okay. she has a right to stand up and protest she wasnt being violent or anything she has the freedom of speech.
  •
I think that this situation was handled terribly by Trump and shows that he is not the man that should be the President of the United States. It shows that he is not someone who knows how to handle a situation correctly and properly.

Trump's abortion answer confirms GOP fears - 7 views

shared by kadenroen on 31 Mar 16 - No Cached

Faced with the prospect of Trump as the party's standard bearer, Republicans from across the ideological spectrum quickly condemned Trump's assertion -- but not before Democrats showed the damage Trump's words could have on the GOP. And in what was a clear acknowledgement of the stakes, Trump did something he has rarely done in this campaign -- back away from his statement within hours.
  • ...2 more comments...
  •
I agree with this comment he made about how "people who have abortions should be punished". I personally just dont believe abortions are right.
  •
If abortion is made illegal than I think all parties responsible for the abortion should face some type of punishment. Sometimes in order to enforce something you need to have consequences. The punishment could be something as simple as a fine. I think people freaked out when Trump said "punishment" because of its negative connotations. I am not sure what I think of Trump changing his viewpoints to fit the media. He went from saying women who have abortions should face some type of punishment if it was illegal to have abortions to saying that the women who have abortions are the victim.
  •
I don't agree with the comment that Trump made about women or the doctors getting punished for having/ preforming an abortion. I am pro choice and believe it is the woman's decision weather she wants to have an abortion or not and she should not have to be held legally accountable for making her own healthcare decisions and the doctors should not be held legally accountable for providing the requested healthcare.
  •
This is scary because he is saying that the women who get abortions or preform abortions should get punished. Which I don't believe is right at all.

Why Donald Trump Blinked on Guns | Time - 30 views

  •
What are your thoughts on the gun control debate. It will be 1 month tomorrow that Parkland FL school shooter killed 17 and seriously wounded 17 others. Has the outrage become "yesterdays news"? How do the POLITICS of this issue make solutions difficult to reach?
  • ...12 more comments...
  •
My thoughts on the debate is that guns should be more restricted, but not completely disallowed. Ideas like banning bump stocks are very good, but going without due process is a side that isn't good. However, the outrage and protesting about mass shootings like parkland and sandy hook should never become just yesterday news and should be a constant focus, but due to media jumping off issues quickly for ratings, how divisive the issue is among political groups, and the NRA lobbying extremely for gun rights, it is hard to reach any sort of conclusion and compromise,
  •
I do believe that our government did have intentions of wanting to change in order to prevent gun violence, but as time passed, they seem to have little effort now to do anything. Yes, the solution may take a long time for everyone to be on board with, especially to those that support guns, they are now neglecting the idea. From the government's perspective, it seems to be old news to them, but society and civilians are still trying to remind and encourage the White House to make a change.
  •
I think trumps thoughts on arming teacher is a good idea because it would keep schools safe and their students. It would also make the school shootings less likely to happen
  •
I believe that we should ban bump stocks, and raise the age to buy a gun with stricter background checks.
  •
I agree with Sara. It even said in the article that most of Trumps supporters republicans that don't want stricter gun laws. With that being said, he doesn't want to lose those supporters. It also talked about how he was for tightening the laws right after the shooting happened; moving into the idea without really knowing about gun laws. During the luncheon he hosted, he didn't stick to what he had proposed.
  •
I think sadly it has begun to become yesterdays news. At first everyone was outraged and everyone wanted results with plans of walkouts and things like that but as time passes people slowly started talking about it less and the press for change lessened.
  •
agreeing with sarah and dthomas how they had put their attention to it at first but after few days and weeks had passed they had lost the interest to put as much attention to it. They do need to put more attention and change the age to buy an assault rifle as it is as deadly as any other weapon, especially to an 18-year-old. The government risks more lives being taken with more school shootings by people who shouldn't have a weapon in the first place.
  •
This outrage has become slightly a thing of yesterday. I know it's not completely out of people's minds because there is still a lot of local and national talk about the walkouts and movements planned to continue the spread of awareness. In this article it states that Trump had changed his mind on the gun legislation a few weeks following the tragedy. He was all for changing the ages and putting restrictions on the gun laws, but was very quick to change his mind after the media died down on the subject. Most of his supporters, shown in private polls, are not interested in changing the gun laws and legislation because he still wants to hold as many supporters as he can. The outrage seems to be yesterday news because it isn't in the media all the much anymore. I don't think our country has moved on from the tragedy yet because there is still a lot of talk about the national walkouts and the other movements that are being pushed to enforce change in the legislation.
  •
I feel like as the president he should stick with his ideas and support them. Not switch up because hes afraid to upset people. The people voted him in he shouldn't cave because hes scared of the NRA when its our safety he should worry about
  •
I agree with Grace. She right it has become old news which is sad, people should talk more about the safety of people. And like Grace said they plan all these walkouts and stuff but people stopped talking about it which made the press quit talking about it, and if the press isn't talking about it then no one else is. And if no one is talking then there is going to be no change
  •
I think that this news has become "old". Huge amounts of support at first, but the momentum died eventually. The whole conversation is slowly dying because of the realities of politics too. Like one person said in the article, you can just swing a pen around for a bit and give way to legislation. It takes time. But sadly, this topic won't stay around long enough.
  •
When these shooting first happened the government had intentions of taking control of gun violence and preventing these type of events. But after a while their effort to control this has reduced to little or nothing. From the governments perspective they think that it will go away and but the community wants to have the laws change.
  •
I feel maybe they should be more strict on guns and the background checks be more thorough. just wondering why 21 for semiauto pistols but 18 for fully auto AR's. It should be the other way around.
  •
its yesterday news because after the shooting we been talking about to raise the age in assault rifle as in the last couple of weeks so this shooting gave a heads up about school safety and the age to buy assault rifles.

Trump thinks he'll be able to persuade mexico to build the wall. He's crazy for thinking that. Why would they want to help fund for the wall when they don't want be even leave the United States. There's no way he'll be able to persuade them.
  •
I doubt Mexico will at all consider paying for the wall, it's just not their problem.
  •
I doubt that Mexico will pay for it because Trump is the one who wants it up, not them.
  •
What will Trump do if they refuse to pay?
  •
I don't think Trump actually thought about what would need to happen to make his precious wall when he was campaigning. I think he was more focused on getting the position and making everything sound good and now that it's time to step up to the plate HE created, he's trying to find anyway to get the money needed to fill said plate. He wants to cut so many programs and he expects others to pay and he just has his expectation bar to high. The border wall he wants to make would take $21 billion dollars! That's a lot of money to raise and I just can't help but think, what are the consequences of the actions he's willing to take to make that money appear.

Who is going to pay for the wall?

Biden should have dodged reelection question at first news conference - 16 views

Should Biden run for president at the end of 2024? What are your thoughts?

In an ideal world, Biden wouldn't run so that a more popular progressive candidate could run. Unfortunately, Biden likely will run for re-election at the end of his term, or the DNC will push hard for another milquetoast centrist if he doesn't.
  •
I agree with Brandon. I don't think Biden is the best president out there. From what I saw, many people only voted for him to get Trump out of office. However, from what I read in the article, Biden was confident when he said, "Yes. My plan is to run for reelection. That's my expectation." As the current newly appointed president, it's good that Biden responded confidently even if he doesn't run again. He would have looked weak if he said anything else. Also, why are reporters asking this question so soon? Biden has only been in office for like three months. The press is just trying to hurry up life.
  •
I don't think that he should run again, he should allow another to run who might be able to be more productive or something.
  •
I don't think he will end up running again by the end of his term and I don't think he should either as he has labeled himself as a bridge president I think it's illogical to run again. him winning the presidency creates some momentum for the party and it's pretty obvious that from here some more democratic candidates will come forwards vying to be the top candidate, and I don't think Joe Biden coming to join them would be of any benefit and it would probably stand more as a division within the party. Joe Biden pretty much just stood as anti-Trump in this election for people so when people have the option to choose for another candidate I don't think many would choose Biden.
  •
Depending on how his term ends out should be a deciding factor for reelection.
  •
i think it's too early to think about reelection because even if he wants to run again, he might change his mind about it in a few years.
  •
I believe we should wait to answer this question, cause we don't know what he's going to do in the future.
  •
Biden has made some big mistakes, and has done things I don't approve of...But it's been less than a year, so I will give him a chance to correct his mistakes.
  •
I agree with Jackie, it's too early in Biden's presidency to be asking whether or not he'll run again. I'm sure he'll try to run again, but I'm not sure how successful he'll be. Many people just voted for him because they didn't want Trump in office, so I'm doubtful they'll vote for him when there are other options.
  •
it's too early in Biden's presidency to be asking whether or not he'll run again its been like 3 months that's a question that should be asked around the time of reelection.
  •
I don't Biden should run again because they are better options out there for our president. Many people only voted for Biden because they didn't like how trump was as a person rather than what his policies did.
  •
Personally, I think that Biden will run for president and I think that in 2024 he will lose. Do you think the rock can become president in 2024?
  •
I agree with most of the comments. It´s too early to tell if Biden will run again especially since it's only been a few months. Depending on what he does in the office and the feedback he gets will dictate if he runs again. I do feel that Biden was sort of elected just to get Trump out of the office and I hope that in the next election there's a better option besides just the one main factor was he wasn´t Trump. Either way, I look forward to following the rocks campaign.
  •
I personally think that Biden will not run for president in 2024. I think it is also too soon for anyone to say anything since it hasn't been a year. Everyone was concerned about Biden's age when he ran for president, I feel like he shouldn't run for president again for that reason. What if he has too many health issues? What are your thoughts?
  •
I agree with most of the comments that it is too early to tell, I think there is a chance he will run again but I don't see him getting voted in again. At least hopefully by then, we'd have better people to choose from as well. But especially cause of his age and him already being slow in general, it is unlikely for him to run again.

Macy's Is Defiant As Petition To Dump Trump Nears 600,000 Signatures - 0 views

  •
I think that Macy's should drop Trump because he obviously doesn't make the company look good. Because he always has his outbursts about his opinions that aren't always necessarily nice ones. They're his opinions and people might think it's also Macy's opinions but that's not the case.
  •
donald trump is a rich rich rich rich rich man so he should stay with macys to keeep them in buisness

How do you know he didn't become so wealthy by stealing from the company?

Never-Trump conservatives search for alternative - CNNPolitics.com - 1 views

  •
"Bill Kristol and other Never-Trump Republicans have done extensive polling and talked to potential candidates and financial backers about how to stop Donald Trump, according to sources familiar with those efforts. They understand that getting on the ballot at this late stage will be a challenge but insist they can overcome that with the right candidate and resources."

House GOP Conference chair backs Trump, isolating Paul Ryan - 2 views

  •
Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Wash.), the chairwoman of the House Republican Conference, announced her support for Donald Trump's presidential campaign late Wednesday, leaving House Speaker Paul D. Ryan as the last major GOP leader on Capitol Hill not to back Trump. I think she is right. Trump has one people over for speaking his mind, but now he has to show that he has the "temperament for the job."
  •
One of the most important jobs of the president is to form diplomatic relationships with other countries. Given Trump's plans for solving the debt crisis and building his infamous wall, it seems unlikely that he would be able to work well with other countries. I believe that it is foolish to back Trump for president because he is all over the board and has yet to prove he is capable of such a position.
  •
I think she refused to debate because she knew she would lose

Protesters sue Trump after encounter with security - CNNPolitics.com - 5 views

  •
Five men who describe themselves in a complaint as "human rights activists of Mexican origin" filed a lawsuit Wednesday against the Republican presidential candidate, his campaign, his company and Keith Schiller, Trump's chief of security. The plaintiffs allege that Trump security officials, namely Schiller, assaulted them as they protested outside of a campaign event.
  •
I feel like the activists were well within their rights and forcing the protectors to move the banner as well as striking one of them is very illegal and wrong. I agree with them that Trump would make this country racist, and he should be protested against as much as humanly possible.
