With the Filibuster in place, nothing gets done. The Filibuster allows the minority of congress to block popular legislation. Ignoring the often unrepresentative nature of the congress, this is a serious problem that isn't even enshrined in the constitution. What are your thoughts on the Filibuster?

Not only what the title says, but the exodus of moderates also did another thing; lose the incumbents money. Not because they're all scary socialists, no no. The leaving democrats quite literally took all of the local party's money with them through what I would describe as "How is that *not* illegal?!" methods.

While the article is about South Africa, many of it's points ring true for America. Education, when you think about it in the deepest manner, is not really about Education; it's about proving you'd be a good worker, and not much else. But I'm curious to see what others think.

I deeply dislike Musk. I find him to be a horrendous grifter that's no different from other billionaires, just with better PR. As the Article says, Musk has made baseless claims that he's failed to deliver on, yet people still love him. What are your opinions on Musk?

I find it interesting that ideas such as raising the minimum wage, an idea commonly associated with the left, finds success in areas shown to be conservative. Thoughts?
