Just so you know, colourlovers.com not only has a face-lift, but has added new subdivision for patterns! That's quite evil acutally, 'cause now i have to kill extra time over there. :)

Our skin is very sensitive and it also require special treatment on daily basis. Cleansing is one of the best way to remove dust particles from our face and make our face so much clean and soothing. So we should choose our cleansing material wisely so that it may not have diverse effect at our skin.

Need a good laugh before you jump into your next big project and new year? Of course you do! Maybe I should dig out my old rolling stone magazines, I'm sure I can do much better than them.

Bold, funky, energetic and colorful - this guy's graphic design is really pleasing and enjoyable, and he even declares that "I don't take myself or my work too overly seriously"!! Well, he sounds just like me. ;)

Honestly, I'm not a guy into overmuch, though I alaways admire the idea and labour of creating art. As for geuclide's works, THANKS GOD he knows the boundary and jumps out of the stereotypes skillfully and stylishly. I can pull out a whole package of adjectives to describe his works, one of them is MARVELOUS. As you can see on the left, his abstract appear like an abstract landscape painting, with soft, appealing color schemes, plenty of space around and a bit of darker doodle that brings extra moves and delightful surprise to the image, which basically makes me wanna pick up the phone immediately and ask him how much he would like to sell it. :O) If you can' agree my viewpoint more, go check out his humblevoice gallery, for he has lots of things to feast your hungry eyes.

This website is really a wonderful source for all who can't live without something new in daily basis. It covers from visual to stuff, from interaction to architecture (they all come in differnt feeds. How sweet is that!). And who decides that? It's YOU!! Their members/readers apparently are the boss 'cause  you can add anything fresh, informative or creative but others enjoy the equal right and freedom of deleting whatever hateful. It's a nice tactic, and working very very well for me! :D

The image on the left is entitled Nighthawks, which gave me a very strong impression the first time I saw it on a wordpress blog last week and fortunately I saw it again yesterday in a bookstore. Do you see how sharp the light and the building are? and are you just like me, feeling your heart beat faster and faster by the empty but disturbing atmosphere in the painting. If your anwers can't be more positive, it's about time for you to meet another master like Edward Hopper who can teach you some lessons you can't learn from anyone else.

The project Stimmungsgasometer is about a smiley on a huge screen from which one can read the average mood of the Berlin citizens. When they are collectively "happy" the light is a smile, and when they are not, it is a sad face. Input comes from facial recognition software that takes in video from a strategically placed camera. The software estimates whether passers by are happy or not, and then installation changes accordingly.

You are walking along a city street when suddenly you are confronted by the totally unexpected. A wall of greenery rises vertically up the face of a building nearby, and architecture takes on a whole new dimension. Not only are those who instigate this type of cladding being environmentally friendly. They are saving money as well.

Yeah, we all have seen stuff like this, but the elephant, the clown, the tiger and ballons make such a wonderful illustration that we can't help but take a peek in the gallery of this young lad from UK. Thanks God he doesn't let me down, but makes my next trip to his wonderland necessary and definite.

I was searching for a step-by-step tutorial on making an image fade into the background (in GIMP), the knowledge of which, I guess, is quite a essential for all graphic designers, and I still can't believe how I was left ignorant til NOW!

The statement "Collecting Art: Everyone's at it, why aren't you?" on the cover caught my attention first then it's the news that artreview offers free, on-line magazine for your pleasure, at least for the first 6 months (I don't even know what that means!).

This guy is from my redbubble contacts and he seems quite a celebrity who keeps winning awards for his stonishing photographs though personally I prefer his digital works, which have these funky twists here and there that wows me all the time and are totally enjoyable for all the Japanese style fans.

My instinct let me bookmark his page immediately and jot down those words, as for my nature, it tells me uniqueness can't happen unless you run into it at times.

For all the design fanatics, this definitely is a must-see, and quite a looker as well. From business cards to logos, from css websties to flash sites, some works over there are supposed to haunt you and make you jealous for a while. Feel like showing off, then post your own works and get some votes, maybe one day your fabulous design will show up on the first page of the Highest Rated.
