Best Practice: basically copy what other providers are doing to empower their sympathizers, champions and angels in rasing funds. Could we do the same for AFL partners and for CfL?

We Feel Fine / by Jonathan Harris and Sep Kamvar - 0 views

This site was recommended by a colleague at the Campaign for Learning: Jamie Wright. It is basically a visaulization - representing the "virtual world of content" - where anything is posted with the words "I feel..." or "feeling" - and/or emotions. It gives you a snapshot of the emotional world we live in.

  • "Good stories fascinate us all. They always have. They always will. At this moment in our nation’s history, we are seeing two epic stories evolving—in terms of our new President, and in the state of our economy. The story of Obama many believe is epic, and certainly the story of our nation’s recession and economic downfall is also a burgeoning epic tale. Stories move societies forward. They inspire, engage and initiate change through their telling and re-telling. Basically, there are two types of stories: Truth Stories and True Stories."

Twitter Fan Wiki / Hashtags - 0 views

  • Hashtags are a community-driven convention for adding additional context and metadata to your tweets. They're like tags on Flickr, only added inline to your post. You create a hashtag simply by prefixing a word with a hash symbol: #hashtag. Hashtags were developed as a means to create "groupings" on Twitter, without having to change the basic service. The hash symbol is a convention borrowed primarily from IRC channels, and later from Jaiku's channels.
