The idea of JDojo is to bring JavaScript and Dojo to Java. However, the programmer now can take advantage of a typed programming environment and benefit from the Eclipse Java Tooling. My view of GWT is changing. When I wrote 5 GWT Anti-Patterns I saw it as the framework controlling my entire application. Now it's my glue.
