Overview of the Punjab Mukhyamantri Scholarship Program Punjab's Chief Minister, Charanjit Singh Channi, has authorised the Punjab Mukhyamantri Scholarship Scheme. Fee reductions will be available to students enrolled in state government colleges under this programme. This proposal will promote higher education while simultaneously raising the GER at government colleges, which is currently at an all-time low. This project will benefit students who are financially disadvantaged, particularly those in the general category.
