Its goal was to discover how teachers were incorporating the presidential election coverage into their classes, or if they did so at all. Some teachers failed to include any current events into the classroom because it would not be tested on at the end of the year graduation tests. They focused on issues and subjects the students needed in order to pass and graduate.

The article goes into detail about real life classes that are using these certain technologies.

Kasari, Connie, et al. "Parental Perspectives on Inclusion: Effects of Autism and Down Syndrome." Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders 29.4 (1999), 297-305. Using the child's diagnosis, age, and current educational placement, a study was done to observe the effects of these factors on parent's perceptions of inclusion for their child with disabilities. Parents in the study filled out surveys asking questions on how they felt about their childs current educational situation and views on inclusive programs. The studies showed clear results. Parents of patients with Down syndrome showed a significant difference in support of inclusive programs over parents of children with autism. Age also played a role.

Talks about how police officers raided underage teens who were drinking illegally at a party in Naperville, Illinois. It goes into detail about the risks involved for teachers, as well as students who are currently using MySpace or Facebook. Although it clearly states the dangers of these sites, this articles delves into the positive ways college students and teachers are using them such as organizing charity functions, organizing new clubs, or even forming political protests. This article reflects on both the good and bad sides of social networking and students.

This article talks about how the teachers of America want to change the gender gap. Between 1990 and 2007 there has not been much change in the gender gap in math. Teachers have goals of changing this so that both genders are on the same level. There are programs out there that are teaching current and future teachers of how to teach to both genders. Also they are teaching early childhood teachers how to make sure that the gap does not start so early.

This article is about research that studied the nutritional knowledge of college athletes. Despite popular belief that college athletes are well aware of nutrition, this research indicates that the nutritional knowledge of college athletes is minimal. The research was conducted on student athletes at Southern university. The student athletes were tested on of current dietary recommendations, sources of nutrients, healthy food choices, and the relationship between diet and disease processes. The research showed that majority of athletes at Southern university had healthy attitudes about eating behaviors, however had little knowledge.
