This website is a biographical guide to the world of Victorian film. It features 300 biographies of those who, behind and in front of the camera, played a significant part in creating the phenomenon of moving pictures. It is based on the book Who's Who of Victorian Cinema, published by the British Film Institute in 1996. It has been revised throughout, and new entries and background features added, to make the website serve as a reference source to the world of Victorian film and the world as seen through the eyes of the Victorian filmmakers. Victorian film we define as filmmaking in its broadest sense, from the first glimmerings in the 1870s and 80s to the death of Queen Victoria in January 1901.

Begun in 2007, At the Circulating Library: A Database of Victorian Fiction, 1837-1901 offers a biographical and bibliography database of nineteenth-century British fiction. Currently, the database contains 8606 titles by 2555 authors (more statistics). The database is hosted by the Victorian Research Web, a major and free research resource for Victorian scholars.

The website provides information about the group's five-year, interdisciplinary research project, funded by the Leverhulme Trust, entitled "Past versus Present: Abandoning the Past in an Age of Progress". The project aims to examine Victorian attitudes to the past, and in particular to understand how the Victorians reconciled their commitment to "creating the future" with the contemporary unearthing of "multiple pasts in wonderful profusion and vexingly contradictory detail

Romanticism and Victorianism on the Net (RaVoN) is an International Refereed Electronic Journal devoted to British Nineteenth-Century Literature. The journal, which began publication as Romanticism on the Net in February 1996, is published four times a year. It expanded its scope in August 2007 to include Victorian literature

This website was dedicated to British Gothic drama and its various manifestations between 1768 - the year of composition of the first Gothic tragedy, Horace Walpole's The Mysterious Mother- and the later, pre-Victorian, culture of the 1820s and 30s. The materials made available here range from critical bibliographies to links to internet resources and teaching and study aids, and are offered as a starting-point for all those readers who wish to explore Gothic drama and theatre in order to rediscover a cultural phenomenon which, although now relatively unfamiliar to contemporary readers, was as notorious, shocking and frightening as the better-known Gothic romance. The Nineteenth Century English Novel Bibliogrpahic Resources webpage is a large bibliography on material published both in book and hypertext format for research in nineteenth-century novels. As well as texts on the internet, there are various websites about authors and literary movements. Beginning in the Romantic period with authors such as Jane Austen, Mary Wollestonecraft, Mary Shelley, William Cowper, William Blake, Sir Walter Scott and William Wordsworth, the site works its way through the nineteenth-century, the largest section devoted to the Victorian novel.

The Brown University Women Writers Project is a long-term research project devoted to early modern women's writing and electronic text encoding. The main goal of the project is to make texts by pre-Victorian women writers accessible to a wide audience of teachers, students, scholars, and the general reader. We support research on women's writing, text encoding, and the role of electronic texts in teaching and scholarship. The website hosts Women Writers Online, a full-text collection of early women's writing in English that contains more than 320 texts published between 1526 and 1850.

The Dickens Project creates opportunities for collaborative research on Dickens and the Victorian age, and disseminates research findings through annual conferences, institutes, and publications.
