In global US market comex gold also slips by 1% and turning on selling side .crude also seeing in selling when trade starts on Thursday, crude oil open at 4702 points and close at 4701,but currently it traded up by 4677 with the fall move of 24 points.

Gold prices in the international market has reached the upper level of last three months. Due to this MCX Gold open with marginal gain. However, MCX Silver is trading in red due to strength in the dollar. On the other side a strong decline has been seen in crude oil prices. In volatile trading, the Nifty index today failed to sustain initial gains and ended almost flat on caution ahead of expiry of monthly derivative contracts and much-awaited Union Budget. Nifty moved up by 5 points to finish at 8767 after hitting the day's high of 8840. Thursday will see markets reacting to the Railway Budget as well as portfolio churning by investors as monthly derivative contracts expire.

At NCDEX, soybean opened with positive note and it trade up side most part of the day. Later on 2 nd half soybean prices hits upper circuit due to lower arrivals in the mandis. The markets opened in the negative territory today. At present, both the indices are trading very flat with the Sensex down 11 points at 15959 and Nifty down by 3 points at 4775. Banking stocks were under selling pressure, falling nearly 0.5 per cent. Auto and FMCG stocks also traded lower.

Metal and Oil & Gas stocks are trading with weakness. Sensex is down by 12.22 points or 0.04 per cent and is trading at 28491. Nifty rose 2.55 points or 0.03 per cent and is trading at 8645. Metal stocks fell by 1.41 percent. Power stocks have a weakness of nearly 1 per cent. Oil & Gas, FMCG and capital goods stocks are dull. IT and tech stocks have strong movements today.

Copper fell by 1 percent and trading below Rs 350. Lead is trading with a weakness of 1.5 percent at Rs 113.5 . Zinc fell 0.7 percent and trading at Rs 130.5 . Aluminium is down by 0.5 percent and trading at Rs 114. Gold fell by 0.25 percent and trading at Rs 28000. Silver is flat and trading at Rs 40000.

Industrial growth slowed to 1.7 per cent in December from 3.9 per cent in November, owing to low consumer durable goods and mining output, while CPI inflation rose to 5.11 per cent in January from 4.28 per cent in December. In the new base adjusted series, besides changes in the weight of items and groups, CSO now uses geometric mean for computing inflation from the arithmetic mean used in the previous series. The Reserve Bank of India has set a target of restricting inflation to eight per cent by January 2015 and six per cent in January 2016. The retail selling price of petrol cut by 3rs in the last day April month . Petrol prices were last decreased by Rs 1.2 a litre in Delhi on April 16. Since then, international prices of petrol have gone down from around $116 a barrel to around $107 a barrel

NCDEX jeera November futures failed to recovered and declined upto Rs 16150 per quintal on Friday's trading session. mcx sx report says that gold future continuous on downside shows weaker trend for this year . The depreciation of Indian rupee against dollar is expected to support yellow metal price in mcx . The gold future trading was down by .61 % to 29676 per 10 gram on 16:08 pm .
