I put a link at a blog to a webslide I've made and two folks who are using firefox said they tried several times to access the link but got a try back later message.

    Are webslides still being supported?

Couldn't find any reference to them on v2 pages.

Yes. there was no problem... He checked several different times and got a "server busy" message.

I tried to find another example for one of the guys to review, and couldn't seem to find any descriptions from the 2.0 home page that indicated you were still supporting it. I got fearful that because I didn't see it that you might have canceled it as a feature...

One last question... when linking to an image within a webpage for the slideshow, rather than the whole, page, the server always shows that link as busy... Is think kind of link viable?

the page is public, and I had no problem running it myself.

I've been working on webslides now for a monthish and have a few bugs or suggestions to report.

    Bugs:

    1. When a webslide gets more than 50 or so links, of which a good percentage of them include highlighted images the slideshow starts to act up, in many cases a good number of the highlighted images no longer work.

    2. Again, when the slideshow goes above 45-50, moving links-urls's around within the slideshow will fail to move. The bigger the slideshow the worse this situation becomes.

    3. On the opening page the author line is too small and is barely visible, also if you click on it the link doesn't work.

    Suggestions:

How about some kind of segment divider, something like the opening page

You might want some kind of monitoring device *size of the page" to show how fast a url will come up.

Add an editable 1/2 inch frame below the main page that allows us to put a text description for each url

Is it possible to scroll down a page?

Enhanced linkroll doesn't work - 70 views

    1. Your enhanced linkroll script fails to work properly.

I created a script and posted it to my webpage. Others could not see the links at all, while I could only see it when I was logged onto diigo.

    2. when is v3 coming out?

    3. how about adding newsvine to auto posting option!

    4. How about allowing larger amounts (currently up to 20) on enhanced linkroll

    5. How about really going cool and start working with librarians that have bigger library needs.

    a. A serious network of users could number into the dozens or larger. How could this group coordinate or organize thousands of tags? There are answers! This is when web 2.0 becomes more than hype!

    b. the current tagging structure you use is clumsy and slow (you are not the only site with this problem) What happens if I am tagging hundreds of url's per day?

    c. What if I want to load a feed with a couple hundred url's and tag them using a tag within a tag pop up command line (that I - the user can configure)

    6. Let us netvibe our root page with wigit boxes with each box a favorite tagset.

    7. How about a pop-up that will allow users to geomap the url?

I'm a librarian that would like to post 400-1000 url's a day by myself, and want to build an organized library network with dozens of other librarians... Make the jump folks! Your already leading this stuff with your innovations.

The big picture of how to integrate the 4 major realms of bookmarking (text, photo, sound and video) should be in your future of where this is going. You content option could include icons identifying resources on the tagged page!

Look at color coding and font design to add additional keys!
