In Delicious, for a long time, users shared links with "for:username" or "for:someone@gmail.com" tags and they were not shown in the usual tags. Yes I did use that tag as "for:someone@gmail.com" while I was with Delicious and it never showed up as a tag and it was never publicly accessible either so it was no problem.
However; when I exported the bookmarks to Diigo, it seems that this tag is publicly exposed and I have no access to delete it, simply because that tag is not displayed under my tags: http://www.diigo.com/cloud/mcored?sort=3
I can personally message you the exact URL with the private email address if you want :)
I never tagged this as an email address to publicly expose email address like that.
I am very sure it is to do with Delicious Import feature in Diigo. In Delicious you can send links to email addresses but they never show up publicly. After I exported Delicious links to Diigo, Diigo has treated it as a tag! That's the best explanation I can come up with.
Hopefully next time I look at http://m.diigo.com/tag/for%3Ahonda.jazz there should not be any email addresses displayed, as I have deleted them like you said a while back!!!
I need your urgent help. I just discovered a private email address is exposed in Diigo after exporting from Delicious:

This tag is not deletable by me and the tag no longer exists ( http://www.diigo.com/cloud/mcored?sort=3 ) in my Diigo tags but it is still publicly displayed.
Thanks in advance
Mike

It *is* of course still there there.

http://m.diigo.com/tag/for%3Ahonda.jazz shows up email addresses too, I hope you will deal with this as part of looking into the global tags.
