Tags Not Working - 93 views

    Is anyone else having problems with their tags? All of a sudden, when I try to search for a tag (any tag), it tells me I have no pages with that tag. My pages are all still available and all still have tags listed below them, they just aren't connecting up.

    Yes, I found out the same issue since yesterday. The tag search doesn't work properly; sometimes it gives you with irrelevant items if no search results at all.

    I noticed that too - I already thought this might be a constant "feature" :(...I just switched all my bookmarks from Delicious today and got pretty frustraded *lol*.

    I think they fixed it now ...my tags are working.

    My personal tags are working, but in a group I created most still don't work. I bookmarked some sites last night, and their tags show "no bookmarks" when clicked. An older bookmark's tag works fine. I ran into this problem a few days ago (http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/topic/1563), and apparently it was caused by some maintenance work.

    I hope this clears up soon; I was planning to do a brief demo of Diigo to my colleagues at my library this afternoon.

    Group tag search problem was also fixed. Please check it.

    Works fine now - thanks!

    I'd like to start using my group to bookmark sites for my library's website, but I'm hesitant to do so if this is a recurring problem. Is it permanently fixed, or is it the dying gasps of v.2, or is it something else?

    As soon as I know it's reliable, I'll start encouraging students at my library to join Diigo and add sites to my group.

    It is like a temporary indexing or cache issue sometimes tags show up on pages but don't resolve in search until things resync on the backend. Hopefully it clears soon. Issues like this remind me of Kitchen Remodeling: everything can look fine on the surface, but one small connection underneath can affect how the whole system works.
