I'm having a problem with filtering bookmarks by tags. When any tag is selected from my list of tags, diigo says that there is no bookmarks tagged. I'm new user, and since this is fundamental functionality, I suppose this is just temporary setback. Right?
They were all created in Diigo. I see the problem falling into two situations
1. Tag reorganization and cleanup: The Selfservice was created today as part of my tag reorganization and clean up. I did some renaming of tags as well. Other tags that fall into the same category are: Instant_messaging, rebuild_xp, root_cause, social media policy examples, itil on-line training, ola and help desk sites.
2. Brand new tag: Yesterday I created a new tag, Brazil, and it is showing the same problem.

and at http://www.diigo.com/cloud/Dmurat , each of
http://www.diigo.com/user/Pt_gpm/trac and
http://www.diigo.com/user/Dmurat/article should match some bookmarks.
http://www.diigo.com/cloud/Grahamperrin leads to http://www.diigo.com/user/Grahamperrin/Diigo which is well populated. However, a search for my most recently applied tag http://www.diigo.com/user/grahamperrin/accessibility does not find two bookmarks The Brewer palette for colour deficiency and Colorbrewer: Color Advice for Maps to which that tag was applied today.
Experimenting with a tag applied less recently by Damir Murat,
http://www.diigo.com/user/Dmurat/interface21 does find a matching bookmark.
Maybe the most recently applied tags will be searchable before too long.
> fundamental functionality
Agreed.
> I suppose this is just temporary setback.
Based on various tag-related issues in recent months, I have the same guess…
I've had this problem all day. In all my tags....
Thanks for your comments Graham, when i said it doesn't work in all day i was referring to other diigo users that i used to manage...
We could talk too much about this kind of experiments with final users... but it's true that it's a beta site.
I see: http://www.diigo.com/user/bjc293/Selfservice finds none of the bookmarks that have that tag, and the tag is missing from the Recent tags portlet at http://www.diigo.com/user/Bjc293
I have tagged this topic for review (by anyone) some time tomorrow (20090924).
@ Barbara: please, were the affected bookmarks created in Diigo, or the result of an import?

Hope this information helps.
