Criticism
In Diito Meta: the small area below the preview is far too small for reasonable treatment of public page comments, especially when that small space is (a) preceded by personal or group annotations and (b) polluted by orphaned sticky notes.
Positive suggestion
Whilst the preview is loading, present the page comments.
Maybe implemented as a collapsible/expandable sidebar. (Sidebar approach to comments certainly works for Google Sidewiki.)
