Suggestion: Add to Section feature in Lists.

Again? It's only half a year since last serious data loss [http://groups.diigo.com/group/Diigo_HQ/content/highlights-missing-when-page-is-reloaded-and-or-duplicated-or-missing-in-other-views-of-annotations-960888].
Very disappointed, since have lots of web page to bookmark and organize today...

Until the current bug is resolved, maybe use an alternative service for new bookmarks. Something very lightweight, http://www.instapaper.com/ comes to mind. Then work in Diigo after normal service resumes.

Many thanks, Graham. I'm using zotero and adding "todiigo" to each item.

It seems that changes are queued, not lost.

    use cases

I use lists only occasionally, so I'm probably not the best person to offer examples or use cases.

Maybe, consider the public lists of someone who has recently made suggestions for improvement — Yoni Blumberg: http://www.diigo.com/list/Yblumberg. Thirteen lists, twelve of which have been updated within the past month.

Hint: using v=p in the tail of the URL of a list presents an interesting alternative view, so for example
    http://www.diigo.com/list/yblumberg/infosthetics and
    http://www.diigo.com/list/yblumberg/visualization become
    http://www.diigo.com/list/yblumberg/infosthetics?v=p and
    http://www.diigo.com/list/yblumberg/visualization?v=p

I suspect that lists are often used in educational environments, with or without Diigo educational accounts. There could be something interesting amongst this group's bookmarks tagged education.

    Regards
    Graham

    That topic is inexplicably missing.
