    hello,
if i want all of my bookmarks to remain private that is i dont want to share them in anyway through profile search e.t.c . what should i do ? i did select all of my bookmarks to convert it to private from the more actions drop down menu but they have not become private . so what's the procedure of making all of your bookmarks private?

You can select no more than 100 bookmarks at time.

    At http://www.diigo.com/profile/Ali-zaidi we see

    > with 493 Public Bookmarks (593 total)

so I guess that you should repeat the operation for the other five batches.

    Privacy for future bookmarks

At http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/topic/49428#3 I see that you use an installed version 3.1.6.16 of Diigo for Firefox. In this installation you can set an option for bookmarks to be private by default.

(Users of Diigolet have no similar option. All bookmarks default to public, with sometimes unintended consequences.)
