Just finish the GN importer alpha - doing testing now.
Need some volunteers' help: we'd like to test more GN files, especially ones with complicated structure, links and notes. If you would like to help, please
# Go to Google Notebook = > Manage notebooks. # Click Export, choose Atom, then save the file to your computer. # Email the export file(s) to info@diigo.com = > Title: Alpha help ~ GN export files # Besides the export files, please also advise the url for the GN
Rest assured: your data will be strictly held private for testing purpose only. We'd like to do fast iteration on making the importer available soon. Thanks very much for your kind help in advance!
* Your GN will be automatically converted to a Diigo List. * Each item in your GN will also become a bookmark in your diigo account. (more flexibility to come) * Your own view vs. share view (more GN-like) is slightly different. To share / publish your list, look for "Use this URL to share" and click the link to preview.
Here is an example of a Google Notebook vs. a converted Diigo list:
Note: editing on the imported GN list is not supported yet. Coming up.
Of course, at this moment, Diigo List is undergoing further improvement (hint: not just links centric!), and lots more are also under their way in the upcoming V4. Your feedback and suggestion are always welcome & appreciated! Thanks a lot for everyone's help to assist us making diigo better and better :-)
I just had a thought...would it be possible to embed a diigo list in a wiki instead of just linking to it? I want to do that with a google notebook and I don't see that it is possible. So, maybe that is something that can be added to the "and more"!
