    I can get a link for annotations (yellow text)

    - I can't get a link for floating sticky note
    - I can't get link of a floating sticky note associated with an annotation (green colour text)
    - I can't get link of a single comment

    It's correct?

    Primarily, an annotated link presents a page.

    Depending on the type of annotated link, the viewer may see:

    * all highlights and stuck notes, not limited to any particular user, excluding page comments

    * highlights and stuck notes of one user, excluding page comments

    * highlights and stuck notes and page comments

    * etc.

    Examples

    a) http://www.diigo.com/06i7p

    b) http://www.diigo.com/06kdd
    - only highlights and inline comments that are mine

    c) http://www.diigo.com/06kde
    - excluding private highlights and inline comments that are mine

    d) http://www.diigo.com/06kdg
    - only highlights and inline comments that are mine, but excluding my highlights and inline comments that are private

    e) http://www.diigo.com/annotated?url=http%3A%2F%2Fgoogleblog.blogspot.com%2F2009%2F07%2Fintroducing-google-chrome-os.html
    - I'm not sure what this type of annotated link produces

    - I'm not sure what this type of annotated link produces, but from the UID number in the URL I guess that it's somehow specific to a user.

    Examples (c) and (d) may be confusing; even without annotated links, so-called private highlights are easily visible to the public.

    Colours

    To be honest, the colours are very confusing at the moment.

    Sometimes we're told that
    blue = private annotation

    More recently,
    blue = personal highlight
    but personal ≠ private; personal highlights are often visible to the public.

    Yellow highlights are described as private but they're often visible to the public.

    And so on!

    My best recommendation is:

    * use two browsers
    * in the second browser, do not sign in to Diigo
    * copy annotated links from the first browser, paste to the second
    * use the second browser to discover how annotated links behave.

    In your bookmarks, for each bookmark, the All annotations option may be increasingly useful.

    Examples

    http://www.diigo.com/bookmark/http%3A%2F%2Fwww.rafapal.com%2F%3Fp%3D1961

    * focus attention on highlights and stuck notes
    * encourage discussion (the comment field).

    Ah, I just read your other topic.

    http://www.diigo.com/bookmark/http%3A%2F%2Fgroups.diigo.com%2Fbrowse%3Fcg_id%3D17 is probably close to what you want.
