I am trying to set up my students with accounts and bring them into my group. I had some internet connection issues, students messed with my laptop and now the student accounts are no longer in my group or control. With this being said, they my friends but I want to be able to control and share sites with them in my group. How do I go about getting them back into my "power?"
I don't have an educator account http://help.diigo.com/Diigo_Educator_Account but I guess that if your students (your friends) have messed with your laptop, regaining control may involved:
1) revoke the rights of each friend who has messed up your laptop
2) create a new account for each person whose previous account was revoked
3) close any classes or groups that your student friends have spoilt
4) recreate classes or groups to take the place of those that were spoilt.
Oh, I nearly forgot.
Make your student friends SIT IN SILENCE on the NAUGHTY CHAIR whilst they watch you put right everything that they spoilt ;)
