Cookies are mentioned elsewhere but it should be most helpful to express the requirements, especially those relating to third party cookies, clearly at time of installation.

Correction: as wilde ny wrote,

Clarification: with Diigolet 3.1b508 in Safari 3.2.1 (5525.27.1) and Safari 4 Public Beta (5528.16) on Mac OS X 10.5.6, third party cookies:
* are required for one type of sign in to Diigo
* are not required for another type of sign in to Diigo.
