It's much more than just a game of good cop/bad cop. Some police officers are very serious about helping save animals while they're on duty (and off duty, too, of course). OMAHA, Neb. -- Fire investigators believe a boy and a girl are responsible for a fire that injured a man Friday morning. Crews were called to the house at 135th Street and Atwood Avenue about 4:30 a.m. Dispatchers reported that Jermaine Westbrook, 37, was trapped in the burning house.

A house that caught fire Thursday flared up again overnight. Flames broke out at the home near 4th and Center about 4 a.m. Friday. Flames could be seen shooting from the home from several blocks away. Firefighters got the blaze under control in about an hour.

It weird how the fire just started up again. Makes you wonder how it did.
