Quizlet is a website that allows the teacher and students to study topics via quizzes, flash cards, etc.

Quizlet is an online learning tool for students and teachers that lets the user study a variety of subjects for free. It allows teachers to create quizzes and practice questions for their students based upon the material being taught in class. Students can then go online and take these quizzes or complete these practice questions to study. Quizlet can be used both inside and outside of the classroom and provides both teachers and students with a fun and interactive method of integrating technology into learning.

I chose this website because I think it a good tool for students, and teachers to use. It provides a category for education that contains a variety of different websites and videos. This meets standard 6.4 by using it to find different ways to study. Also it has teaching strategies as well as web 2.0 for the classroom, and apps for education. All these things helps students and teachers improve on their educational practice.

This Youtube channel mixes modern songs and historical events, making tricky subjects, such as the French Revolution, into a catchy, memorable study tool. Teachers can meet standard 6.1 by incorporating these songs as a type of instructional technology to help facilitate learning in the classroom.

This is a website that offers a lot excellent information for both English teachers and students. It offers a blog for teachers who are just starting off to ask questions from more experienced teachers. There are also study guides for different aspects of Englsih.

This website is somewhat like a d2l and Diigo hybrid . You can create a group that your students can join and inform them of upcoming tests and post homework, and study guides. It's a convenient way for your students to contact you with questions. You're page looks somewhat like a facebook so it should be very easy to use for everyone

I find the history channel website to be very useful for history teachers. It has videos on most historical events, games for students to play that are relevant to subjects in history and social studies. It could also be used as good source for students when doing research projects and paper. A great icebreaker for teachers to use is "This Day in History."
