I felt like this website met the standards of 6.1. This is a great resource for teachers and parents who are teaching math or science. There are a variety of lesson plans as well as interactive "gizmos" that will help students learn. Students can do the interactive portion and then be asked to complete the lesson plan. It's such a helpful site that will benefit the students and teachers.

This website is a great resource for teachers to assess students. It has different assessments for all ages. It also uses the state standards. It has many assessments for different areas and the teacher can go back and view what he or she need to go over.

The Smithsonian Education page is an excellent place for both teachers and students. Teachers have the opportunity to explore their topics in depth and even be provided with their state standards and lesson plans, while students are provided with fun activities.

This website is a free grade tracking application that also allows teachers to share students progress with the parents and students. There is also a phone app that will allow for easy updating. It allows lesson planning with a place to link the state standards.

I chose Microsoft Mouse Mischief because it is interactive. It allows the teacher and students to interact with the lesson and eachother and makes learning fun and easy. There is something for teacher and student. It is a program that allows teachers to make PowerPoints interactive by asking question and with wireless mouses students select answers. It also shows the teacher which students or groups of students answered correctly or incorrectly. My standard is 6.1, which states that candidates intergrate instructional technology to facilitate learning in the classroom to supplement instructional strategies, to design instructional materials, and to enhance hands-on expierences and problem solving. I believe that this program is great for this standard. It is hands-on, interactive, uses technology, and ask the students for problem solving and quick thinking. The website I found relating to Standard 6.7 covers a wide variety of topics and tools that educators can use. As stated in 6.7, this website gives instruction and examples for databases and spreadsheets. It has several links relating to these two topics. I see myself using this website in the future and hope everyone else is able to get some use out of it as well.

This is not only a cute and decorative website, I thought this was absolutely helpful to find other emerging resources that are made available to all of us future teachers! I really liked how it could be tied to using the state-standards within the curriculum. I really liked how you could print out freebie worksheets according to the subject and topic that was being taught. I hope everyone tries out this website, trust me, you won't regret it!

This website is a math website for Pre-K through Eight grade to get some extra practice. It is a free site with several different activities. It also is aligned with state standards and is used in over 150 countries.

This website was designed to supplement a book titled Ethics for the Information Age by Michale Quinn. The website is broken down into chapters, each chapter has a learning activity to be accomplished using the internet. This website covers . This website covers Standard 6.9: Candidates model the legal and ethical use of technology resources. As previously stated, this website is based off of an entire book which specifically examines the required content of standard 6.9. This book/website is practically dedicated to the mastery of this standard.

6.4 Candidates use technology in their own learning process and to change their current educational practice. The Library of Congress Online offers a Teacher's Resource page that provides self-paced modules for professional development with completion certificate awarded, links to classroom materials that meet the educational standards of each state, lesson plans, a blog for teachers, and much more. I recommend completing the Introduction to the Library of Congress Module under Professional Development as a starting point.

Standard 6.3 Candidates apply technology to analyze assessment data and to guide classroom decisions regarding student learning. This is a great website for teachers to find games, lesson plans, and other resources that will help students to improve on the standards that students were not meeting proficiency. This website allows you to search for activities that specifically meet the state that you are teaching in standards. It is a great website to help with remediation!
