I'm learning more about this incident now about the crisis of the band breaking up. I was researching this question online, and this article caught my attention because it explained what was going on between the two band members. "Aerosmith drummer Joe Perry has said the band "won't wait" for Steven Tyler to get back involved with the band after the singer stated that he's not leaving. Tyler joined Perry on stage recently to make the declaration following rumours that he had left the rockers. Now Perry has told Billboard that Tyler wanted a two-year break from the band - but he wants to keep going. The quote here I chose is basically saying that there is conflict between Tyler and Perry. Although it is not certain that Tyler will leave the band, the two seems to be losing what they once had as band members.

Q: What makes music so interesting? I'm learning more about Music right now, and in particular what I'm wondering about is: "What makes music so interesting?" I was researching this question online, and this blog post caught my attention because of the title. This blog post sparked my interest because it answere one of my questions. "Do you think it's possible that you might think you like certain bands only because your friends tell you they're awesome, not because you actually enjoy their music?" The quote i chose here is basically saying that you may only like the band because of your friends. You may not like the music, but because your friends enjoy them you believe you have to like them too. I think this is interesting because it makes me wonder if the bands that i like have anything to do with my friends. Do i like the groups because of my friends? Do i actually like their music? After reading this blog it makes me question the type of music that i listen too. Throughout the world. many people listen to music on a daily basis. People listen to it on their way to school and work, and coming back home. There are many ways to listen to music; through the inventions that have been made. These inventions have evolved over time starting with the radio to cd players to ipods. However, what makes music so interesting? What makes music so interesting? Is it there catchy tunes, their beats, rhythm. People like to listen to music that they like. People have many different preferences of music, which is why there are so many different types of music genre today. Music ranges from jazz to pop, R&B to hip-hop, classical to rock etc. Each genre of music has their own rhythm and tunes, which sets it apart from other pieces of music. I'm learning more about Metallica's murder case right now, and in particular what I'm wondering is what Metallica's feelings about this is. I was researching the status of this online, and this article caught my attention because it was the first link on Google News. The caption mentioned band member Kirk Hammett's opinion on the matter, so I clicked on it since I was curious to his particular thoughts, knowing Kirk Hammett to be a more softer soul in the heavy metal band. "Last week, Metallica's Kirk Hammett spoke about Harrington's case. "We are staying positive that she will be found soon," he said. "We are all hoping for the best and praying for her and her family. We all have children and as parents ourselves, it's our worst nightmare for a child to go out and not come back home. We empathize with that greatly, so we are doing what we can to help find her. We are staying positive." The quote I chose here is basically saying that Kirk Hammett fully understands the sadness that comes with a missing child, and that it's something everyone fears. However, Metallica is staying positive and optimistic that something positive will turn up.

The Story of Sam He plays the saxophone and is in his school's jazz band. He is a senior in high school and is about to graduate. He is here from Mexico and immigrated here when he was 5 years old. His visa expired and his father did not reapply for one. "I was raised an American." He did not get in to college because of his legal status. Michelle is his girlfriend, she plays the piano. His family wanted him to keep a low key because they were afraid of what would happen. Every Sunday morning, his family gets together to play together. His mom sings, brother plays the drums, sister plays the bass, and his father is a pastor. He graduates high school in Indiana and his dream is to go to Indiana University, but he applied too late and issues arose. He did not qualify for financial aid because he is undocumented. His father tries to push him to find a job in the summer since school is about to start in 2 months. He cannot pay for tuition, cannot commute to college because he doesn't have a driver's license, and can't work on the mark. "I can't go very far." "I'm not sure what my future is..."

Right now we are listening to a podcast. The podcaster is talking about himself. The podcast is about a guy who is undocumented and its his struggle in college. One quote that stood out for me was "whole family plays music on the stage." This stood out for me because it shows that he has a close family and they are there for each other. Another quote that stood out for me was " The whole college proses was very frustrating" I understand him because I am also going through this college proses and it is very confusing at times. Also stressful because everything has to be right. I admire Sam because With all the obstetrical in his life he still going to college and getting an education. It is great that his family is supporting him.

Sam's parents did not teach him his indigenous culture/language. They possibly thought that by not teaching him Spanish it'd become easier for him to assimilate to the American culture, but by doing so I feel like it cost him a part of his identity. What if Sam get's deported, he won't be able to survive in an environment that he's not familiar too. His own father acknowledges his sons capability to adjust in born country.

I am learning more about recycling right now, and in particular what I'm wondering about is why people don't like to recycle. I was researching this question online, and this article caught my attention because it talks about how supermarkets have big responsibilities on this.
