Day To Day Functioning With A Brain Injury - 0 views

  •
I had a brain injury as a child and I want to let others know that have had brain injuries, that they aren't alone. I also want to let them know that what they are experiencing is normal for this condition. It's not something that they should feel bad about. With persistence and determination, you can overcome whatever obstacles stand in your way.The reason that I know this is because I went from being a small child in a coma, clinging onto life; to a mature human being making a difference in humanity. If I can do it, anybody can do it.I've always made a point to move forward and not look back on the past as a crutch. If you do the best you can, with what you have, where you are; then, there isn't a person on this planet who can ask anything more of you. The point of all this is, that it's a learning experience. The end result of learning is always growth in some direction.

Colbert Communications is Installing Cellular Network in Lumbumbashi, Africa - 0 views

  •
In eighties and nineties there was a growing concern that as people in the rich world would receive access to computers and all possible communication technologies, people in the poor part of the world would find themselves on the other side of the so-called digital divide. This idea of digital divide lives on until the present day.

The Value of Patience - Associated Content - associatedcontent.com - 0 views

  •
We've all heard the cliche, good things come to those who wait. And in some ways it rings true. We are born into a world in which we wait for a lot of things and how we spend our time waiting is often the determinant of whether we are successful or not in whatever the endeavor may be.

US Orphan Works Act of 2008 / Capwiz.com - 0 views

  •
Action site of person who posted video on Youtube of the same, alleging that copyright protection was about to be shredded for those whose works did not appear in commercial registries. There is some talk about the impact this will have on artists. What I don't see, and would like to, is the text of the bill, itself, and some supporting links. Much of this, we're asked to take on faith, which is a troublesome thing in a setting like the Internet, where we are all forced to deal with strangers. If the author is telling the truth, I hope he'll work on fixing these deficiencies in his site..

  •
All too often we get caught up in the world with our busy lives. It's easy to forget the simplicities in life, like saying please and thank you. These days we have a lot on our minds yet, three simple words can improve the world we live in; if we incorporate them into our daily lives.

Conversation-Fillers-That-Are-Annoying - 0 views

  •
I want to make people aware of what they're saying and when they're saying it, with the thought in mind of how they're coming across to others. I know that when you are having a conversation with someone, you don't always know what you're going to say or talk about. Sometimes, ideas come out in conversations; giving them a spontaneous quality.

Senseless beauty in nature upon the wild wilderness - 0 views

  •
As the butterfly sits upon the wild flower, it doesn't have a care; except to enjoy the world for what it is, a place of happiness and joy. Things in the wild are full of beauty. It's no wonder that the wilderness is full of charms in nature. I don't know about you but, sometimes I'm just astonished by the beauty of the wild. It has it's subtle nuances but, it has its own special way of seeing you through.

How to Write a Descriptive Essay - 0 views

  •
Most essays are designed to prove a point or to lead the reader through a logical set of points in order to arrive at a conclusion. A descriptive essay is not this type of essay, but rather allows the writer to use a great deal more freedom in language usage and subject matter.

Let the Words Flow - FictionPress.com - 0 views

  •
A site on which one can publish one's fiction. The social networking aspect of the site seems to be limited to the posting of reviews. Having not yet registered an account on this site, I don't know whether or not one can screen the reviews of one's stories. As each story page seems to link to a page of reviews of the story appearing on that page, if the answer to this question is "no", then what one would have, in effect, would be a guestbook that one couldn't moderate, with all of the possibilities for abuse that creates. I don't know that's the case, but I also don't know that's not the case, so I'll set up that account in a few days and learn more. I just didn't want somebody blindly stumbling into trouble, thinking that I had checked out something that I hadn't, yet.

I'm an amateur but, I'm trying. Here's a goofy photo of me taken by me. I have such beautiful facial features that I often have to do a double take when I look in the mirror. I know that I'm stunning and beautiful. Please, don't mistake my arrogance for vanity. This little ole light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine.
