This is a new blog started by a AP bio teacher. I figure it might end up having some useful things on it, but even if there's not content that is of immediate use, it might prove to be a good example of a way to use a blog in a classroom.
looks esp cool for physics. this is a professor from MIT who took some (very famous) amazing pictures of images reflecting droplets, human movement, bullets, etc. really worth checking out.
cool article that references use vitamin E to block release of an enzyme the brain normally releases after stroke. The enzyme however ends up facilitating activity that leads to cell death, so if you block it, you can save brain cells.
use this site to make really cool QR codes to use in class. one idea I found for how to use these is to assign a code to a page for your classroom text. give the kids the QR codes at the start of the new unit of study and tell them to "zap the code" when they get to a given section of the new chapter, etc.
another great infographics site with links to free tools to use. There are some really cool examples on here that even related to science (including a very funny Periodic Table of Fonts which has nothing to do with science, I don't suppose, but is cute).
