Spanish-English Sentences (beta) - Powered by Spanish-Only.com - 0 views

  •
Welcome to the Spanish-English sentence database powered by Spanish-Only.com! Why this database? I've been studying Spanish for several years now, but looking for good example sentences in one place was always something that seemed impossible. Because I also have my own blog and several of my readers asked me to share my sentence deck I decided to make one big database filled with Spanish-English sentences to help everyone out there really learning Spanish. These sentences are best used in combination with a Spaced Repetition System (read: What's an SRS?). This way YOU can learn Spanish words and grammar in a fun and relaxing way too.

SimplyBox - Think Inside the Box - 0 views

  •
As you surf the Web, you constantly find information/content that you would like to keep. Bookmarks and e-mail force you to keep entire web pages. And as you keep more pages, the harder it is to find them later. SimplyBox's unique patent pending technology allows you to capture and keep just the parts of the page that you want: a sentence, a picture, a paragraph you decide. Each part of the page that you capture is an Item. A collection of Items is a Box. You can have Boxes on any subject/category you want: recipes box, funny jokes box, stocks box, etc. Items and Boxes are more visual and flexible to organize than lists of bookmarks, URLs, or e-mails. And sharing it with friends/colleagues becomes a very quick, dynamic, and fun exercise.

The Mnemonicizer - 4 views

  •
"Welcome to the Mnemonicizer, the Mnemonic Device Device. A mnemonic device is a sentence that helps us to memorize a string of words. For example, music students use "Every Good Boy Does Fine" to remember the order of notes on the treble clef. (E, G, B, D, F). Math students use "Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally" to remember the order of arithmetic operations (Parentheses, Exponent, Multiply, Divide, Add, Subtract.). But the range of usefulness extends beyond music and math. They are an invaluable resource whenever you are trying to remember something."

"This is a list of iPhone and iPod touch apps for education and special education. Each app in the list includes a one sentence description by the author. The app descriptions were based on App Store descriptions and personal trials. The author did not personally trial every app. Promo codes were provided for iPrompts and My Friend Isabelle. The app descriptions provide some information regarding iPhone and iPod touch compatibility. To adequately determine device compatibility, carefully read the app's description and requirements on the App Store. "
