SchoolWAX TV was designed with students, teachers, and parents in mind. All uploaded videos are pre-screened and approved by our moderators before ever showing up on the site. This is a great site that I have used for many years. I have used it with elementary (5th grade) students several years However, teachers should know that you need to monitor and teach use of this site. It is essentially a social networking site and the kids will learn to use it as such very quickly. There are adult themed books as well as independent groups where inappropriate discussions take place. I have emailed Shelfari and asked if they plan to make an education version or limited account option for use with students. That being said I think it's a great platform for teaching those essential netiquette skills!
