40 Inspirational Next Generation Virtual World Platforms | Dzinepress - 19 views

  •
A virtual world is a genre of online community that often takes the form of a computer-based simulated environment, through which users can interact with one another and use and create objects. Virtual worlds are intended for its users to inhabit and interact, and the term today has become synonymous with interactive 3D virtual environments, where the users take the form of avatars visible to others graphically. These avatars are usually depicted as textual, two-dimensional, or three-dimensional graphical representations, although other forms are possible (auditory and touch sensations for example). Some, but not all, virtual worlds allow for multiple users.

Tips for getting to the list of famous Muslim authors - 0 views

  •
Most of the famous Muslim authors have the target audience in mind and this makes it very effective for them to have the reliable results in their careers. You need to know the audience and this will determine the level and depth of Islam you will include. Some of them have the target of small children and this means that you will deal with the basics of Islam. The same happens when you are dealing with Islamic studies or those who want to learn more about Islam. Another thing that will make you top the list of the famous Muslim authors is to have the right subject in mind, and back it up with the verses in the Quran, real life situations and make it easier for the clients to read. People look for religious books for encouragement, to know more about religion or the method of knowing some of the latest ways to deal with the situations they face. It is also ideal for people who want to lead religious lives and will need daily inspiration. The presentation aspect is what most of the famous Muslim authors keep in mind and this includes the presentation aspect, the pictures, details, and the simplicity of the books. The reader needs to find the message easily once they start reading the book and others will need to find out the verses to compare with the message presented. It needs to be specific, and entail the aspects in an easy to follow manner for the reader. You have the chance to view some of the latest methods of presentation from the other books and come up with your own style to attract the clients.

Filter The Flow | Undrip - 14 views

  •
Undrip was born out of frustration. We love consuming media, but this experience is tiring rather than inspiring. Our social networks are noisy, and only getting worse -- it's a constant leakage of great content. Undrip stops that leaky faucet. What google did for the web -- surface the best and most relevant content -- we're doing for the social web.

10 ways journalists can use Storify | Zombie Journalism - 10 views

  •
When Storify appeared on the collective journalism screen a few weeks back at TechCrunch Disrupt, it inspired a lot of oohs, ahhs and speculation as to how it would work for journalists. There are similar curation tools out there, like KeepStream and Curated.by, though they focus primarily on collecting tweets (Correction: KeepStream also allows for Facebook integration). Storify, on the other hand, allows a user to organize various media (text, documents, video, images) and social media (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) into an orderly, linear presentation. The story pieces retain all of their original links and functionality - and the full presentations are embeddable on any site.  It has a very easy-to-use search for social media keywords and works using a drag-and-drop functionality. In other words - it's easy multimedia for even the most technologically challenged journalist.
