What does this say about SMB's and social media? This piece says, that SMB's are: "Still feeling their way into social media..." Interesting. What's your take?
This is probably a good reason why everyone displaced from a marketing or PR job is now a social media expert :) because they're trying to help SMB's learn how to make this work for themselves. We're seeing great results with businesses we work with but those all take a "long term approach" and realize that seeing results takes a "cultural shift" not a new set of tools.
I just executed this automatic s3 back up and I'm not exactly what I'd call a "coder". Will let you know how things go...but to me this was pretty straight forward.
What a great resource! These folks have done simple training videos on many of the most popular and functional solutions around for Twitter, Wordpress, etc. This is a GREAT starting point to build a base of knowledge.
This tool is a MUST USE! So quick and convenient for SIMPLE screen casting. If you're doing private stuff for a membership site...probably not the best choice. But, for simple "get the content out there" screen casts...this is a golden boy among all players. The twitter based login and integration means that sharing is an absolute snap because like you I'm sure, my twitter postings end up all over my social profiles/lifestream. Excellent!
Kind of a light hearted step by step for Internet Marketers. Usually I fly past any list of more than 10 items...but this one caught my eye thanks to Lisa Solomon at www.freemoneyhour.com.
The future of news is playing out. Why even have employed reporters? At some point, the news may be far BETTER when served up by a cadre of individuals. Who knows.
