Word trail - 1 views

We can use this game to teach, practice and/or test knowledge of synonyms and antonyms. My friend, who is a low intermediate EFL learner, has learnt several words while playing this game. So, not only kids, but also adults learn quickly with games.

This engaging game helps to build vocabulary and practice spelling. I explained the instructions to my friend's 6 and 8 year old kids and they played and liked this game. They asked me to play again and again, and after some times they managed to complete all missing letters of the given words correctly. So, this game can be used with benefits for EFL kids.

LETTER FALL Game - 3 views

I tried the game out, and I think it's a nice activity for developing spelling through listening to the word and catching the letters one by one so that to get the whole word. It's useful for children who already have some command of English.

Skiing penguin - 3 views

  •
It's similar to a car-racing game for kids with a funny interface, where a penguin is skiing. It differs from standard racing games in that it doesn't let the penguin go out of the road. Though it cannot be used for developing language skills, it's a fun activity for kids.

Boowa and Kwala travel in search for Kwala's family - 1 views

  •
Kids can listen to and read a story in funny settings (and also through listening to songs). The story is about how Boowa helps his new friend Kwala find her family. This trick can be used for teaching kids travelling by developing their reading and listening skills. The story consists of 13 chapters, so it's better to teach them during a couple of classes.

ABC Words - 2 views

This is an interesting activity for kids to repeat letters, extend vocabulary, to pronounce the words correctly. For children who can read this crossword puzzle gives an opportunity to recognize words in written form and practice reading. I have practiced it with my 5 year old son and, though he can not read, he has learnt a lot of new words

Paint it ! Rainbow - 3 views

    * This painting game is good to teach or/and revise vocabulary as well as to practice listening and reading skills. I have practiced it with my 5 year old son. Though he can not read, with this activity he practiced listening, repeated known words and assimilated new vocabulary. And he enjoyed it very much! I think that other 5 -7 year old kids also will like it.

It`s a good activity to learn and practice occupations with low intermediate EFL learners. They have to match the objects given with appropriate professions. It also gives short description of professions so students can practice their listening as well. I did this activity with one of my friends and it was interesting and challenging for her

It is very a interesting and engaging game and a bit challending to play. It's a perfect game to learn spelling and to guess the words having only discriptions/definitions of them in a given time limit.

Wow.....a great game to learn future form (to be going to). Many boys like football so they will like this game too. Though I've tried this game with a ten-year old girl she enjoyed it as well. I wish I had a chance to learn "to be going to" via this game. :)

Learn the verbs - 1 views

  •
A very effective way to teach and learn verbs. The animation and audio make it easy for learners to see the action, hear the verb and read it simultaneously. My friend's son liked this game and played almost five time in order to remember all the verbs and play the game to check the answers.

Try the New "Make a Face" Song Along with the increase in International Understanding Education in Japan, there is also a strong desire to preserve traditional Japanese activities. It's for this reason that in the New Year you'll probably find Japanese schools teaching lots of traditional games.

If you want to have fun and learn face parts in English, this game could be helpful. This game is better for kids, and beginner levels.

When I found it I said wow.....It's fun even for me. You play basketball and learn common nouns, proper nouns and not nouns.... Have fun with this game ::)) I piloted it with a 10-year old boy he really liked it. Then after a week I gave him vocabulary matching activity based on the words learned in this game and guess what he remembered 90% of words... Isn't that fantastic.!!!

I found these podcasts from the Sesame street website. They can be used for developing listening comprehension. There are also activities with the podcasts which can be used for developing listening comprehension. I tried this with our neighbour's son who is 12. He liked the activity very much and said that it was fun and interesting.
