I found these podcasts from the Sesame street website. They can be used for developing listening comprehension. There are also activities with the podcasts which can be used for developing listening comprehension. I tried this with our neighbour's son who is 12. He liked the activity very much and said that it was fun and interesting.

This activity might also develop impromptu speech since the students are required to create their story orally, consequently there will be some spontaneous changes.
