A very useful game for ESL /EFL Kids. This site has various topic based word games, exercises, quizzes and printable worksheets. This one is to practice body parts.
Engaging for elementary level learners: matching games on different topics like clothes, family members, animals, kitchen items, body parts, etc. Again, I piloted the actiivty with my neighbour Hayk who is 9 years old. what the kid liked more was the fact he should grasp th epcture uqickly and ut it under the right word. Then he failed becaus eof influency with working with the computer, however we did it for some days and he practiced and improved hand movement. Time limit factor was also motivating since he was trying hard to win the game.
This game is very appropriate for teaching the fruit-names in beginner or elementary levels. It is a kind of match game. The player also hears the sounds, and the way the words are pronounced.
I myself tried it, though it was easy for me, I enjoyed the game.
TRY THAT!
Do you use idioms in your speech? I don't because I'm not a native speaker of English and not so sure about the meanings of many idioms. This task may help none native learners to learn idioms and use them in proper situations.
This activity is good for developing students' comprehension. How they would analyze the sentence which is given with the missing word. In this game students are provided with some help in the case of if they are not able to guess the answer. It helps students play with the words, match them with the given blank boxes and then fulfill them. I tried this activity with my 2 EEC students. They worked on it as a group and it was productive. The students got motivated because they were trying to guess the missed word the first.
